don't be so cheap anyway. just buy some 9mm dies.

its not about being cheap, i can definitely afford dies. I am only home 2-5 days a month and wanted to see if they would work.
In a bind at the moment and have a spare set of dillon 38 super dies and was wondering if they were usable for loading some 147gr 9mm rounds. I know it can work the other way in some situations and I am thinking it will work in this case..just wanted some opinions.

yup, i love their products and service. I will prolly never be free enough to get to the silencer shoot but Im bitting my fingers waiting for the new specwar
in looking at paras sight and others, the tube runs somewhere in the $20+ range, plus the dawson pads and what not...get to be around 70 or 80 dollars. now, if i just buy a complete mag, its 50 + the basepad at 30 or so, =80 something bucks. so, which is a better way to go since the costs are simmilar?
decided to shoot a p16. i have one 10rd mag, it has the black bottom to restrict capacity. Do they make something to retrofit to this magazine to get full capacity?
also, where is a good source for hi cap magazine tubes?
thanks.
i have a set for xd's they fit beretas , smiths and sigs i believe. for sale in the classified section. im not able to use them due to some other issues but they are priced to move.
ill try that out. i used ramshot comp and mb bullets in my limited gun for a while. the comp powder is very clean. i needed 5.2g of competition to make major in my sti though. tom stedman (sp) is a great guy to deal with, maybe a year ago i needed a rush delivery for a match and he got a case out quicker than all hell.
im trying to find out what kind of rifling is in the xd barrels (40sw) and if it is suitable to shoot a moly coated lead bullet through it. ive shot plenty of masterblaster bullets through my sti w/ great success and genuinely like the product, service, and quality. i will be loading it to minor pf w/ ramshot competition. is it ok or should i just go w/ a jacketed bullet for this application?
you get 3 inserts w/ each pouch. the flat one for sti/svi mags, one marked cz/beretta ( thinner of the 2 L shaped ones) and the last is marked GK for glock. i used the cz beretta insert w/ the 90 degree bend on top and it worked perfectly! its great because it keeps the mag as far from your body as possible. the cr speeds are great pouches and pretty damn versatile. you can make them work w/ almost any mag. in fact, i cut the 90 degree bend off the GK insert and now they work for my xd mags!
i would rather have it tightened (peened) vs accurails. if anything goes wrong, lets say you damage the slide, back the gun goes to the accurail installer and your SOL. this happened to me when i had a barrel go kapoot and luckily my gunsmith was able to save the slide. i had accurails in the gun and if the slide wasnt salvageable, i would be withdrawing from a match at the end of the month. ill never get a gun i use heavily accurailed again if i can help it.
ive been having lots of oal variations too. ive been using win brass and trying to seat to 1.235 but some are getting seated at 1.240...its driving me nuts. i also have nickel cbc brass and it will have a different oal from the winchester brass. argggh! never had this problem when loading 40sw.
