gmg
I'm not sure but I think this is the right place to put this.I have a black Dawson ICE magwell and want to change it to red but not sure which way to go with it. Could I just Krylon paint it or do I need to have it Cerakote/Duracoated? If so, who would ya'll recommend or is there some other form of coating that could to be used? It is such a small job I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. Any recommendations?
392heminut
I painted a magwell with some blue metallic paint to match the blue anodizing on some basepads and it held up surprisingly well! Of course, you will get a lot of chipping on the inside from mag reloading.
wgj3
I used can of Lauer Durabake for the exact same project. Has held up well so far.

gmg
I used can of Lauer Durabake for the exact same project. Has held up well so far. I think I will try this way. The only problem is it costs as much in shipping as it does for the product
