OUshooter
The SJC, because it's really big.
MustangGreg66
I use the Dawson Heavy magwell because it seemed to have the most weight. Glocks don't have much and shooting major, I wanted the most weight I could add to it. I also have a Zev extended tungstin guide rod on it. I'm used to doing reloads since I mainly shoot production so the funnel was less important than the weight.
splashdown
I prefer the shape of the Dawson Ice. I have the original, standard weight version and the super heavy version as well. Gotta say, the super heavy works well with the G24 and G35 for Limited/L10. ETA: Full disclosure, it's the only magwell I've played with on a Glock. My favorite magwell on the 2011 was the stainless steel SV magwell. That wasn't terribly large either, but had a good angle for hitting mag changes. I had tried the STI and the Dawson Ice before on the 2011's. Edited September 19, 2012 by splashdown
Glockman1000
Dawson Ice Magwell on G17 Open, I wanted this one to keep the weight towards the front with the mount & optic. Dawson Heavy Ice on G24/G22. Limited guns to get more weight for recoil control.
sweetback
Looking for a magwell for g22 3rd gen, like the sjc but looks really big. What are you using and why. SJC brass magwell is the heaviest, then Dawson heavy,Dawson Ice is nice if more weight is not that important. I use them all. Each one has a different feel. All have good angle for reload and keeping fingers indexed high on grip.
ninemmbill
I have both the Dawson Ice and the ZEV magwells. Both fit well and have different weight options. They do have different shapes which may affect grip and mag changes.
Noximus03
The SJC, because it's really big. Yeah....that pretty much covers my answer as well....
TSAF
I have used both the Dawson ice and zev. Have to say I like the zev more. Both are good and heavy it just doesn't change my grip as much.
TeamGreenbaum
We use the Zev brass magwell on our G34 Gen 4 because it's the heaviest at 7.9 oz. The extra weight helps soak up recoil and my kids have an easier time shooting it. Caveat: we haven't tried any others...
Whitefish
The SJC brass magwell weighs 8.7 oz, which makes it the heaviest one I have found. It is also the biggest and the one I like the best for my open and limited Glocks. The downside is that it is also the most expensive.
427Cobra
My G35 with a Dawson Ice, my Brothers G34 with SJC. IMHO if you don't have extended base pads definitely get the Dawson.
