Sns castings?

They also sponsor a bunch of the major matches we all shoot here in the midwest, including Indiana Sectional and other biggies. I'm working my way through my stock of other stuff and I'll be placing an order with SNS for next year's shooting (I'll even begrudgingly pay sales tax) :angry2:

i've notice several comments on the 230gr bullets any on the 200gr LSWC?

i received a shipment of 500 of them here are my observations:

  1. very clean no wax buildup in the meplate, the ogive or tip
  2. consisent weight 10 round sample = 201 to 204
  3. can't scratch with fingernail
  4. excellent packaging
  5. fast shipping received package within three days of order date

the one minor issue I could see is some of the bullets from

the sample (at least two) have some extra sprue on the base.

I have yet to fire some of these bullets, I will keep you all

updated on the results.

I have been using the 200gn SWC for the past few months in two Springfield 1911's. I was having reliability issues so I was trying several combinations. I have not had a single issue with this bullet. I have gone through about 4,000 of them so far. I love how accurate they are too. I do clean out my seating die after every 250 rounds or so but that is the only concern to be aware of. I live very close to the Dillon factory store and I just buy themt there. I assume if they sell them and recommend them that is saying something. I use 231 or WST as my powder.
