DRamsey
I'm trying to make this a poll. I've got two experts. I trust both equally. One has a monetary interest in the answer, the other is a high ranked IPSC shooter. One says STI is the better quality tube the other says the better quality is SVI. Either way the tubes will be used in a STI gun.
shred
Unless you forsee needing to run 9x19 (get the SV for that), IMO the differences are small enough not to matter. The variability between individual tubes is probably greater than the variability between manufacturers.

Jasonub
i use svi for an svi pistol. i think you should just get it at 1911store.com. Gramms tuned sti tubes.
Mistral404
i have an sti edge. i had sti tubes tuned by beven. changed grips to a scott and had some problems. replaced the the tubes with sv and sv mag release--no problems. this was the easy way out. I could have had the mags tuned to the scott grip, etc. i am running nothing but sv tubes in my edge and soon to be new sv.

srf
Use STI tubes in STI's and SVI's: Work great - especially the Beven tuned tubes!!
Kingman
I am using both in My STI, with no problems. Though I am using arondono(SP) springs and followers.
