Off to visit Arizona and the Dillon factory

Had a trip planned to hit up Arizona and then i started getting into the idea of reloading and now its become a business trip :), ill be hitting up the Dillon factory within the next week or so, then after that Vegas and back home, wonder if they will let me video the tour :P

currently saving up for a XL650 after this trip is over should be 1-2 months hopefully before i can order a full package the cost was around like $1854 with everything but the primer filler

Make sure you head to the Scottsdale Gun Club and US Auto Weapons. They are close to Dillon and have a ton of cool stuff.

heh not sure how much gun stuff my cousin is willing to put up with but im sure she can take it lol

Agreed :) US auto didnt have a 50 BMG from what i saw i was a little disappointed but the gun club did but they dont allow it to be shot in the range... which made me sad in the pants :P

They didnt allow me to video in the warehouse area since Dillon Aero is fenced off right when you get in there, they are apparently really picky about that.

cool thing is Matt(pretty sure thats his name) working at the counter is from where im from lol

lol no oompa-loompa's there were only a few people putting together machines in the back area, no free stuff but they have alot of cool stuff :) i picked up a hat and shirt which is one of the pics there, got a bit more info that i probably wouldnt have realized before

Am I the only thinking that's an awfully big/expensive/complex kit for someone "thinking about getting into reloading"? There's a lot of stuff in that list you don't need to get started, and unless you need to turn out thousands of rounds per week or month, or just have way more $ than time (not likely as you say you're saving up for it), I'd start out smaller, i.e. skipping the bullet feeder, primer fillers, etc. and just get the Eliminator scale (you'll end up buying one later anyway).
