Reshoot
We can not house our homeless. We can not feed our hungry. We can not pay our debts but, we shoot space shuttles into . . . well, space. I am glad to see it come to an end.
sirveyr
I wonder who is going to help launch and maintain my GPS/GNSS satellites now? Satellites and space are kind of important in my line of work.
Pat Miles
We can not house our homeless. We can not feed our hungry. We can not pay our debts but, we shoot space shuttles into . . . well, space. I am glad to see it come to an end. For those folks who cannot afford a home or worse yet cannot afford to feed theirs or themselves... life is full of choices and decisions. The vast majority of those folks made the wrong choices and/or decisions. Pat

Pat Miles
some views are shallow.. So I should be forced to compensate for their bad decisions? Different story if it was voluntary and not forced by the possibility of jail time for me. Pat
dugout
Your right, there is no reason to "provide for the defense". What do we need a ballistic missile defense system for? What do we need space based surveillance for? Who needs the ability to place and maintain satellites? We can use all that money to feed and house a populace who wouldn't do a job if we gave it to them. It truly warms my heart to see someone in front of me at the store paying for lobsters and crab meat with their EBT card and MY money. Why would we want to waste those tax dollars on something like securing the border or again, providing for the defense? Nope why waste those tax dollars on NASA? It doesn’t buy any votes so what’s the point?
