Apexer
I purchased my first semi custom, a Baer PII. I want a magwell, as I will use it in single stack, but don't want something huge, but also will match the blueing of the gun. Any recommendations? Singlestack
Search "1911 magwell". Shows 257 results.
Bob DuBois
I'm old school but like Ed Brown's mag well, it easily fits in a IDPA box. Would recommend stainless, won't rust easier to blend end, easier to touch up once it's marked up. The blued finish is coming off very quickly once you start shooting competition. Mike21STI
go with the S&A magwells if you aren't looking for something too big.
Apexer
I'll take a look at them both, thanks.
JDHunz
The S&A is a really nice magwell...had one on my Trojan, but switched to a Dawson Ice for USPSA...just worked better for me.
Jonathan Taliani
+1. For small clean magwells, S&As are very nice. For even faster reloads and replaceable inserts, the ICE is tough to beat.
tavman
I have the Ed Browns on both of my 1911's. They work great and fit in the box making the prefect for USPSA SS or IDPA CDP.
