Steve Anderson
I've been practicing really hard lately, using everything I've learned from Brian's book, and from watching "Pistol Masters" and "How to shoot fast and accurately" every day day while riding the exer-bike. It's all starting to come together, and this past Tuesday our local IDPA club's first stage was a Bill drill at 5 yards. There is no better feeling than having the first stage of an event exactly duplicating your last practice session! I shot it at 1.92 with no points down...What a great feeling! My Beretta E2 and I were in sync with the target and I knew the hits were good before we scored the target. I know 1.92 at 5 yards is nothing to brag about around here, but a personal best is a personal best. Thanks Guys.
TGO
That is a damn fine time. Many a day I would be glad to have a 1.92 clean on the score card. Good going.
Flexmoney
Even more so out of the IDPA rig. Great job. (Of course, I would take it with a race rig.) (Edited by Flexmoney at 12:48 am on Mar. 26, 2002)
Duane Thomas
1.92 clean on a Bill Drill? With a Beretta 92? That gets you serious bragging rights!

Bill Nesbitt
I've been going through really old threads for fun. Thought I would bring this to the top. What a difference a few years makes. Bill Nesbitt

rhino
I thought they were brothers! It is fun to see "the old days" and how things have changed so much for some. Some of us stay the same! Two and a half years is apparently a long time if you choose to practice with great intensity and drive.
Steve Anderson
Yeah, this is a cool one, especially since TGO blessed my run! SA
Flexmoney
LOL...this thread threw me for a loop. (Still wondering where you shoot IDPA ? Are you sure it was't an "Ipsee Qualifer" ? :) )

Bill Nesbitt
So, what are your race gun times for a Bill Drill now? If you can do a sub 4 ElPrez then your Bill Drill times should be around one flat. Bill
EricW
Geez. A few kind words from Robbie, and Steve starts strutting around like he's good or sumthin'.
