We got bottlenecked at that stage, so I saw a lot of people run it. 90% of the time they were calling "cover", the SO wasn't even in position to make call(back behind the shooters left shoulder, SO out front did not have line of sight). astephenson Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 I got a cover call on stage 11 also. I actually DID over-run a position and step past what they were considering "acceptable" cover. My gripe, though, is that the cover call came AFTER I had already stepped back into cover, forcing me to make an unnecessary second adjustment. At the advice of a friend, one of the best things I ever did was spend a full month's worth of local matches shooting everything like it was limited vickers. Guess what? You can shoot sixteen shots faster than you can shoot nineteen, pretty much every single time. One of the things that got me out of the "accuracy through volume" camp that kept me stuck down in Expert.
