Intel6 Posted February 12, 2011 Share Posted February 12, 2011 A french border is a thin line cut along the edge where the round top of the slide transitions to the flat side of the slide. My factory 9x23 Infinity open gun had this on it and it even was carried on to the comp. You can see that in the first pic below. I had that gun redone by Gans Guns into a 9mm by putting in an new barrel with no hybrid ports and installing a new Bedel comp along with some lightening.
