Rufus The Bum
What's everyone shooting in CDP? Hows your 1911 set-up? My CDP pistol is (was) a Colt Series 80 (Stainless) Fiber optic front, Bomar rear, Wilson one-piece Magwell, lightened hammer, STI sear, Clark Mainspring, ISMI 14#recoil, 17#mainspring, high-ride beavertail (of course.) Lightweight aluminum trigger, extended ejector, STI ambi's, match barrell/bushing, hogue finger-groover grips and a 5lb trigger pull. The only thing I didn't like is the holster, I had a thin fiber-optic front that broke as I drew out of my holster 2 or 3 times. Next time, I will stick with a Dawson fiber optic because their not so fragile.

Ted Murphy
I have a springfield 1911 loaded with a trigger job and an amateurish dehorning I did with an ignition file. Also have a Colt with all sorts of gee wiz stuff like bomars, but it's old and breaks a lot so I don't use it anymore.

Wakal
Wilson CQB. Bought it used for what is was worth, not what Wilson charges for 'em. Nice semi-custom .45, if not as slick as a Benny gun. Alex
Bill Schwab
Old Springfield Armory that started life as a GI looking gun. Work on it has been done by first Wilson (many years ago), then Middlebrooks, and some work myself. Gun has been tightened Kart barrel Ed Brown bushing SVI tri-glide Koenig hammer & EGW sear for 3.2 lb pull Wilson rear sight w/serrated front sight flat S&A magwell that's been bevel a little Wilson beaver (hey, that's a nice beaver you have there, LOL) Wilson ambi safety Aftec extractor EGW guide rod w/one Wilson buff 14 lb ISMI recoil spring & 15 lb ISMI hammer spring flattop & serrated slide, lowered & flared Barnhart grit grips gun has 28k through it drawn from a Blade-Tech straight drop no fancy checkering or serrations, but I hope to fix that in 2004
