sperman
I'm thinking of getting a P9 as a backup for my CZ. There's one listed on GB for $400 (supposed to be unfired) but I have no idea if that is a good price or not. Does anyone have any recommendations? Bill Nesbitt
That price might be a little high. The front sight is not interchangeable on the P9. For a few more dollars you can get a new CZ-75. I have a P9 and the sight picture is a little funky compared to the CZ.
sperman
By the time I pay shipping and FFL fee's, I'll be close to $500. That seemed a little steep to me, but I really have nothing to compare to. Thanks for the advice.

kellymc
I wouldn't go more than 400 shipped and I would look for a little cheaper ffl fee.I had one once and had EGW do a stright single action trigger job.I replaced it later with a spo1 with a stright single action trigger and the better sights. eerw
its a decent gun..but some parts don't interchange with a CZ. Also some parts have changed on the newer Tanfoglio guns, so they don't all interchange with the older P9.
revomodel10
p9's were great in the 1990's, time has past them by... just look for a used CZ, heck new ones from Angus w/action jobs,or sights are a great deal..
