ChopperDoc
I am working up a load for my Glock 17 with a Long Wolf 5" barrel w/ Jager Comp. 13# spring Using HS6, starting out at 7.8 grains, what COL is the minimun I should be trying? I loaded up a few dummy rounds at 1.18 and they will not chamber fully. Is 1.150 too short? Thanks
ParaGunner
Might need to lengthen Your chamber.
herky
I run my 9mm loads for the G17 at 1.160 to 1.162 and they work well in the mags. Much longer and they will be to long.

The longest commercial 9mm I've measured is about 1.165". I run mine at 1.350 in my XD, but lots of folks go longer. Just not 1.180. Chuck
Aircooled6racer
Hello: What weight of bullet are you using? For the 95 grain bullets I use 1.100" and for anything else I use 1.150" in the Glock. Any longer than that I found they don't feed that well in the mags. Thanks, Eric
Jman
1.155 and I have the exact configuration that you do. Works very well. Jim

My gun made major at 8.1 grains. My match load is 8.2 - 8.25 using a #100 Federal SPP to start things off. Great load for its purposes. M109R
Just came back from the range and my Glock 17 with a KKM gunsmith fit barrel and a 11 port SJC comp will make major easy with 7.8g HS6 at 1.150.
