Just Getting Started - Used Dillon RL550B

Hi,

I'm just getting started in reloading and I'm really excited about it. Ever since I was a kid I've enjoyed looking at ballistic charts and reloading manuals... call me weird! My 11 year old son has been having a ball polishing brass, so he's following in my footsteps.

I purchased a used Dillon RL550B with Lee 40 SW dies, Dillon 9mm dies, and a 45 conversion kit. I plan on loading 40 SW first, then 9mm, and eventually getting into 357 SIG, 223 Rem, and 6.8 SPC.

Welcome. Do yourself a favor and download the manual and use it to set up everything. You'll be making ammo in no time!

Welcome to the forums! Like Grumpy, I too load on a 550B. I just CAN NOT find a flaw in the machine. Good choice.

My first and only loader has been the 550B. No regrets and will keep even if I move up. Simple set up, easy operation and very adequate thruput. Very accurate loads can be had if you do your part.
