Looks like I may be heading to MB for the week of August 14th thru the 22nd with the GF and meeting with her mom.

Any matches in the area that I could get into for a break, USPSA or local match would be fine, even a multi gun would work, just know what to bring and be prepared for.

Shot at Ant Hill at the NC Sectional couple years ago. About an hour north of MB, near the USS NC battleship. Beautiful range, like shooting on a golf course. Manicured lawns, flat, bays close together. After you shoot go to straight towards the coast, and eat at a little restaurant right on the beach, forget the name. They had a shrimp po'boy that was to die for.

There's a good place down in Southport? Hmm... Might have to try that - so far, I've just been stopping at Papi's, in Little River, for margaritas* and food on my way back.

(*only good, fresh-squeezed margarita I can find around here.)

I'll be in Myrtle Beach Sept 6th-12th. Might consider shooting a match. I'll have to check out the monthly match schedules of some of the clubs mentioned.

I'll check my GPS to see if I can pull the co-ordinates off it, in some fashion, if that will help. As I recall, the 8.0 mi off 17 on 211 is pretty much spot on - it is a, relatively, small sign, though.

Guess I'm going to Ant Hill on Oct. 31 for the 3gun match, then to my time share in MB for a week. Looking forward, haven't had a vaction this year.
