Alan Meek
If you looked at the aerial view and saw the 4 ranges you actually missed 3 others ;-) If this works out we will have a lot of opportunity for shooting.

NovaShooter
Alan I got boned again at work again and have to work all weekend. However, in the future I will make these matches. The range is only 35 minutes from my house. Jayson

Alan Meek
Here is a map of Summit Point A1 are the old ranges from left to right, there is an area that can be used for close targets. BSR uses this range to demo shooting through cars. The next range has a 100yd elevated bench, plus this range can be used as a 50yd range. The middle range has a concrete pad with pnuematic reset steel plates and then an area that is gravel. The far right range is 50yds. both of the 50yd ranges here have a baffle system, but it does not seem to be an issue if you fire from an area you can see blue sky A2 are the newest ranges, They are 100yds deep. The bottom range in the pic is used for IED demonstrations. This where we will be holding most of the matches A3 is an area they call Mars. It is a cut in the ground that is open terrain A4 is a cafe that can be opened by BSR-Inc if there is a decent size crowd. Mainly a burger and hot dog joint. Seating outside at picnic tables. A5 is another cafe/restaraunt that can be opened if even larger events.
ampleworks
I seen WV and was hoping it'd be closer to the Charleston area. Good luck with the club!!

Jeff, you can still come and shoot, Charles Town Races and slots are not that far away for a place to stay and play in the evening ;-) Alan

Gary Stevens
It is Area 5. Alan has been gracious enough along with other helpers to get this club up and running. Geography dictated that he would be the logical person to help with this project. We desperately need more activity in West Virginia and this could be the push we need. If this works out we can have our second club and I can appoint a Section Coordinator to continue with the growth. Thanks Alan, your help is greatly appreciated. Alan Meek
The south property line is the VA/West Virginia border. wouldn't take much to make it VA. ;-) This is only 40 miles from my house. Albert Pilkington is also working with me to make this work. Alan

Alan Meek
Well the match is in the books, 18 shooters showed up, had 4 stages, and we were done by noon. Now to enter scores and start the planning for next month! We might even be affiliated for the next match Thanks to everyone that came out and helped in so many different ways.
