Intel6
I picked up the big Lee sinngle stage cast press and it came with a smaller wood knobbed handle on a hollow tube. I have had my old 550 handle laying around for years and found it fit on the Lee press perfectly and it is much better and gives better leverage because it is longer. I never thougth of it but it is kind of funny to have a Dillon part on a Lee press. Neal in AZ Edited April 15, 2010 by Intel6
Fishin6061
I stuck mine in my RCBS Rock Chucker b/c it was a whole lot bigger then that handle. Threaded right in. I like the way this sounds
Sarge
I just had to experiment to see for myself. I got the press new and put the aluminum roller handle on right out of the box. This morning I got to wondering and put the ball handle on. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There is no way it is better than the roller handle. It is not even close. As one poster already said, the roller handle should be standard equipment. Do yourself a favor and get a roller handle. You'll be glad you did. Delray
Kind of serious ... Weld/screw or otherwise attach to some kind of heavy base and you have a spotting scope stand for prone shooting?
Mulie
I put mine back on the 550 when I gave it to my son and keep the roller handle for my new 650. I guess that makes me a bad father... As soon as the 650 arrives, I will have another one.... Edited May 11, 2010 by Mulie
Pat Miles
The two handles were stripped of the knobs and added to my round stock pile for my lathe. They sat around for years before doing this. Cheers, Pat
