cheers623
Does anyone have any recommended gunsmiths who can re-barrel an SVI from .38 supercomp to 9MM? Quick and reasonable price is a plus. THanks in advance. cheers623 DVC

ormondopen
Matt Cheely told me he is not taking on any new work right now. Gary Natale at GANS would be the one if you want it quick. Edited February 13, 2010 by ormondopen
matt2ace
Gary Natale (GANS) is very good, fast, and priced fair for top quality work. Highly recoomended Edited February 13, 2010 by matt2ace
Whitefish
Try Rob Shepherd at Major Nyne Guns. I know he builds quality 9 major open guns (and shoots one) and he has worked on several of my guns. Rob has rebarreled several 38 Super and Supercomp guns for shooters in our section Columbia Cascade (northern Oregon) and elsewhere that I know of. You can reach him by e-mail at Rob@m9guns.com . John Larsen in the Seattle area could also do the job. John builds quality guns that I know several local shooters run in 9 major. I did hear that John is out of commission for a while, so you should check on his availability to do the job.
cheers623
Thanks for the replies so far. I am currently having John Larson (JPL) build me a limited gun and he is currently not taking small jobs like this. I am very appreciative for the reccomendations thus far. Keep 'em coming. Thanks a million. Cheers623 dvc
werewolf45auto
Another vote for Matt McLearn and Benny Hill is a heck of great guy as well, both do great work. Many others do as well.
Glockcomma
Chris Fritz is right in your area, and I think he has a reasonable turn around. Tim
