trying to go light, took an 80%er and "hacked" on it. as it sits just under 5lb-8oz. plan to loose some more weight with a different optic, 16" cut to 15.25, titanium mini comp, and turned to .625dia
the railway is actually 2oz heavier. believe me I've tried all optic combinations, My CC bill is proof. LOL
Not sure which stock would be lighter unless a carbine length but I prefer the rifle length. maybe the battle arms development but not sure.
no smoke, thought I would get additional debris, unspent powder and just crap all over my hands/arms but nothing. didnt notice any difference. as pictured it weighs 5lb8oz. feels like a toy

hydraulic buffer with the JP rifle carbine spring that they recommend. I am also using the JP bolt. several different people have shot it and say its extremely flat, the dot just does a very little wiggle.
i've got the JP SCS and the blitzkreig. the blitzkreig is far better at taming the recoil and dot movement. the JP is far better at taming the sprong noise. LOL all kidding the JP is nice but its pretty violent compared to the buffer. I run 124's with N320. just my .02
TT glock +4 base pads work. I have them on 4 metalform/brownells magazines. they do work without modification but the little tab on the body gets in the way a little. I milled a channel in the pad so they would slide on easily. they do not pop off but for whatever reason the +10 will not stay on. IDK why??? they look like they belong.
i'm running colt style magazines that hold 32. had a stage that was 32 with steel and had to do a reload which was poorly executed. LOL heard that taran glock base pads fit the colt style magazines but don't want to spend the dough unless I know for sure. looking at the x products 50rd drum for stages that would require a reload. plus a drum would be cool just to have. :-)
are they legal? saw in the PCC rules that there are no restrictions on round/length but was told they are not legal. sent an email to DROI but haven't heard back yet. Anyone know for sure?
does anyone know if the DPP will fit the alchin mount for the ruger 22/45? the alchin description says leupold but I have a feeling that is the original DP but IDK for sure.
No. They are not the same profile as the OEM barrel.
Is it the dimples that make them a different profile?
that was my question, guess they consider that not the same profile.
if the housing has the pre/over travel screw in it back it out just a gnat hair. it might have turned in ever so slightly keeping the bar from resetting all the time. i speak from experience, add a little loc-tite for security.
shot a couple of matches and like it. not sure why there is a weight limit restriction unless the "plastic" gun manuf. were the driving force behind it. My .02 is it should have been called production optics and all the same rules apply as production except the addition of a slide mounted optic, maybe then the mag. capacity complaint wouldnt be an issue then.
