Looks like a CZ Czechmate Parrot Glock. Will the gun run open rounds?
-
grujo, That is terrible. I would not think that that kind of quality, or lack of it, was acceptable. To be a damaged, repaired pistol sold as new is simply not acceptable.

I just received my first Bul Armory pistol. Before I went to the range, I tried cycling ammo with both my factory and my MBX magazines. The ammo would not feed into the barrel. The hollow point was hanging up on barrel ramp into the chamber. My dry fire dummy rounds work fine, my CCI brass FMJ range test ammo loads, with a bit of hang up on the ramp. The Bul ramp is not as steep of a pitch as I am used to in my other 9mm pistols. Any words of advice?

Running Bul Armory 1911's (9mm) as competition raceguns (SS)

Abandoning reloading, should I abandon my Parrot too?

My personal issues with nose dives and ammo problems was solved by sending my mags to Grams Engineering in CA to have him tune them and replace the springs and followers with his own. Never had an issue after that. -

I have tried the Everglades as well with success. I practice and plink for fun with CCI 115 range ammo. To do that I droped the recoil spring down one pound - See Wolff Gunsprings. What I have settled on is to leave the recoil spring stock and change the steel 4 port comp to an aluminum 3 port comp. The weight reduction does the trick. -
New 2022 model Bul Armory SAS ll UR. Stock except for 170mm MBX mag. Still in state jail serving the ten day waiting period.

My state is about to sign a 10 round magazine law
NorthwestGuy replied to NorthwestGuy's topic in Open Pistols
Black cat, white cat, as long as it catches mice. Either way, WA will join the nine other states that ban 10+ mags. All in an effort to curb crime from a group the doesn't commit the crimes. -

What do you mean? The bill passed and is on the way to the Gov. for signature into law. The effective date is not decided yet. The Gov. can make it effective at any date he chooses. The standard date would be Jul 2022. -

If I get delivery past the cut-off date, I am hoping the "plug" in the mags will be a rivet! -

Ordered 170mm MBX mags to get grandfathered in before the law takes effect. My seller will plug the 155mm to deliver a pistol with mags, if they can't deliver before the law takes effect. Thank you! Ordered. In stock. -

Correct. Now all that remains is to see when the Governor wants the bill to go into law. Hopefully I will get my open pistol before that effective date. -

Senate Bill 5078 prohibits the sale, attempted sale and distribution of high-capacity magazines. It does not prohibit the possession of high-capacity magazines. I believe that you can buy 11+ rounders out of state, if they will sell them to you without local state driver's license. The issue is that you are in violation if you bring them into the state. -

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. I will contact Bul and see what they do in restricted mag capacity states to be able to deliver pistols. Also, I will purchase 155mm and 170mm mags from MBX. Are these the correct part numbers for stainless, gold base competition (no locking on last round) mags? SKUBUL1559CGD SKUBUL1709CGD -
I am on the waiting list for my new Bul Armory SAS ll UR open pistol. What are my options if the 10 round magazine law is passed before my pistol arrives?
-
Buldog, I am running standard base plates.
-
I had him replace followers and springs in 2- 140's and 1- 170 as well as tune all. The delivered price was about $170. Yes, I was constantly having rounds nose-dive. I have not had a single issue since he worked on the mags. 100% recommend.

I had the same issues. Put my mags in a box with a note as to what I wanted with my contact information. He called me for payment and they came back done two days later. Whatever works...the man is crazy busy.
