  1. So are you gonna start shooting again when you get it??
  2. They are awesome mags. I love mine
  3. He musn’t know who Cha-Lee is…
  4. 11 months is not terrible, same as a form 4 basically
  5. Agreed, the rule is sound and logical. If you are shooting a major PF gun and the backup is a minor PF that’s a risk the shooter has to be willing to accept.
  6. Exactly how I view it. We are here for a good time… go shoot the big matches and enjoy yourself!!
  7. Excellent advice, going to try this for sure
  8. The range panda lefty one isn’t bad, the angle of the pad forces you to roll your weak hand further forward which is better for your grip anyways. I hated it at first but getting more and more used to it. I need to check out the Everglades one…
  9. 3 years You are a patient individual. My buddy ordered one a year ago and his motto is if I never start the wait, I’ll never have one!
  10. My PT grip’s beaver tail doesn’t fit right straight from the factory lol. It drives me nuts!! The factory STI one actually fits better, so I would think you could use any beaver tail.
  11. I shot a whole season with my RTS2 and it was never dead. 20+ matches with it on all day 6-7 hrs at a time. I replaced the battery just because I’m weird but never had a dead battery issue. I would say you may have gotten a crumby batch of batteries or the optic is malfunctioning. CMore has a decent warranty program, I would give them a call
  12. Y’all should give Gunbutter a try. The viscosity is perfect, it stays where you put it, and the lubricity is on par with anything out there. I encourage everyone to give it a shot at least
  13. Not worth it on a mag IMO. We drop them in rocks and dirt and personally I just get sad when the finish gets damaged. standard finish is what I prefer although the DLC mags do look snazzy.
  14. Obviously depends on gun setup but in my 2011’s I have had success running everything from SP to SR mag’s with no issues. Changes velocity slightly obviously but haven’t had issues with the guns lighting em off.
  15. I just turn mine on at the safe table at the beginning of the match and leave it on all match. I have not had any battery life issues, they seem to last a long time.
  16. The brass showed up... appears to be starline 38 SC brass. It sized great in the RCBS die. I am just waiting on powder. I appreciate all the help. I am going to continue to try and find a U-die as that seems to be the best route for sizing. Is CFE Pistol too fast for this caliber then? I have seen some people mention it.
  17. I have a lab radar. Its just a brand new gun, dont wanna screw anything up, sorry for the dumb questions. I ordered 1K of the 38 SC brass from Killough Shooting Sports. They said that its great brass, and very popular in the open guns. The dies were confusing me because I couldnt find dies marked Super Comp. They were all marked 38 Super. Once again, didnt want to screw anything up lol Thank you for your help.
  18. That was very informative, thank you for the link kind sir
  19. Im going to use 3N38 powder. The die situation is kinda s#!t right now. I cant find the Lee U-die in stock in 38 super. For now I have a redding crimp die part #31271 and an RCBS sizing die part#20237. Have not been able to acquire a seating die yet. I plan to use 124 gr. RN thats very similar to a montana gold. I hope to find a seating die soon. Any recommendations on charge weight?
  20. I have a hornady single stage and the hornady progressive
  21. So as long as it says 38 super on the box, I should be good to go?
  22. Anyone have any die recommendations? Thank you for the responses
  23. Hey guys, so I need some help. I acquired an open setup. It is chambered in 38 Super. It is not stamped 38 super comp. I guess these are the same thing? One is rimless? I dont fully understand what that means as I am new to the caliber. I need help!! I dont know what die set to buy, I was told to use 3N38 powder. I did a search on here and didnt find too many specific answers. Maybe I am asking too much?? I want to learn I just would prefer not to buy stuff that isnt needed/ wont work. Any help is greatly appreciated and the more specific, the better.
