  1. I have a custom STI Hi-Cap gun with an over-sized magazine catch button(which I like). I have experienced my mag falling out when placing it on a table, or doing transitions to my week hand. I am thinking if I could get a heavy mag catch spring this would solve my problem. Does anyone know where to find a heavy magazine catch spring?
  2. Still no scores yet. Anyone at least write down the class winners? I shot in the rain. I finally realize what a disadvantage baged targets are. I had fun. The boots I left at home I should have brought! KennyA
  3. You look like you are going to pooh your pants.
  4. Are they getting stuck on the way up or on the way down? On some of my SVI mag tubes the follower was getting stuck on the way up and I had to bend the feed lips out with some pliers. KennyA
  5. I found Federal Small Pistol Primers at Powder Valley and I ordered 15,000. I am thinking about trying some small rifle primers. Is there any advantage to this? Kenny A
  6. The guys from DSC are pretty excited about this match. They have already been tossing around stage ideas. I have a feeling this is going to one of the top state matches in Area 5 this year
  7. I am thinking about coming up from Utica, Michigan on Friday and spending the night. Is there a cheap hotel that anyone recommends in the area? KennyA
  8. I have about 8 tubes for my blaster. I would like to get them numbered and possibly personalized so that I can tell one from the other. In the case that I do have a problem with one of them I can pull it from the bunch. Does anyone know someone who will etch magazines? KennyA

  10. The Ontario Provincals was a great time. Crossing the border was easier that thought. Once you figure out what your doing and after you get your keys out of the trunk. There were three Americans shooting, but one defected because I noticed Roy Neal was listed as CAN on the results. Hopefully in the future we can get more shooters on board. I know I am planning on shooting the Triangle Match this winter. Kenny A
  11. Great match this month guys. The heat was unbarable, but there is not much you can do about that. I had an awsome time. Kenny A
  12. I looks like I am going to be working somewhere near Tukwila, WA. How is the area and are there any clubs near by? KennyA
  13. I think Matt is talking about somebody different. BUT I just recived an offer from Boeing and I am going to need to get plugged in. Who is the gunsmith everyone uses out there? I may be moving sooner than later. The still haven't confirmed exactly which plant I would be working at, but for sure Seattle. KennyA A52850
  14. Does anyone know if the classifer from the USPSA Match is going to be posted?
  15. I shot the match on the morning squad today. Great match my hats off to everyone involved. My only criticism is a few less gimmicky starts and a few more wrists at sides and above shoulders with the gun in holster. I am surpised no scores have been posted yet. As long as I live in the midwest I will not miss this match. Half day formats are the greatest thing in USPSA since the limited divison was created. I can't belive every match in North America doesn't run a half day format.
  16. I would like to hear some more details about this new M3 Chrono. Has anyone bought one yet? How does it stack up the the old CED Chrono? More info Please.
  17. I am running into this same problem with my 40 S&W. The case doesn't want to line up with the sizing die and I have to put my finger up there and tilt the case into the die. It is only missing by a few thousands. It was starting to get pretty anoying. I am going to call dillon today to see if I can get one of those alignment tools.
  18. I have always used Federal Primers with out a problem and now they have all dried up. I have been told they are producing more rounds for the miltary and this is where all of the primers have gone. I don't have problem with this I think the kids over in Iraq need them much more than I do. I need an alernative to the Federal Primers I used. I have been told that CCI makes and unplated primer that is good. I have heard mixed reviews on CCI's plated primers. Winchester I have also heard mixed reviews about. Where is a good place to buy these primers?
  19. As for the exterior of my "Gun in the White" I am going to polish with paste care wax and put a couple of coats on it. Does anyone notice that the bomar is the first thing to rust on the gun?
  20. I have one and it is a fun little toy. The beep is not sufficent for match use. I have tried it on quiet and regular. When you have bays at a range that are close together it would create nothing but confusion. The R-U-Ready has the best crisp beep out of any timer on the market, but does not have all of the practice features of the CED7000. The Rechargeable battery is also a dumb idea. When you are at a major match all of the stage boxes have extra batteries in them for when a timer dies. Now ranges must purchase an $11 box to put in every stage box. Sounds like a scam to make money. I leave mine in my range bag for practice and it seems everytime I pull mine out of the bag for practice the battery is dead. I guess you have to charge it on the night stand like your cell phone.
  21. Toughest Match I have ever shot. I don't know if it was who shot the best, or who screwed up the least? I had fun. I loved working with the staff. I only wish my friend wasn't getting married the same weekend as the Summer Blast. I wanted to work that one. Larry and Jeff you guys did a great job. Ken Adams A-52850
  22. Just throwing my unrelated 2 cents. I have been loading the Montana Gold 200 Grain JHP's 1.255 5.3 Grains of Titegroup I am not quite making major. On hodgdons website it say's you can go up to 5.4 grains. I will try this. When I was running 200 Grain Precsion Cast Moly coated bullet 5.1-5.2 would make major.
  23. I have the safariland 771 mag pouches for the 1911 magazines. The continue to unscrew and fall out and I keep loosing them. Does anyone have suggestions to keep from loosing to parts.
  24. Does anyone know where you can get a .090 solid black front sight? Preferably in a heinie cut.
  25. I notice that Northwest PA didn't show up on the point series. What's up with that? Did I missinterpret something when I signed up. I have been known to get a little confused from time to time.
