  1. You are so righ Mr. Miyagi, your humble student Danielson agrees with you. Wax on, Wax off. Just kidding Scott. Sorry Loves2shoot. Just had to mess with you.
  2. Shooting has always been fun and relaxing for me. It is also a great way to meet a lot of friendly people. It really doen't matter what division, as long as you get to shoot. Well maybe not revolvers .
  3. If anyone is interested, my friend Billy is selling his. He lives in Bay Area Ca and has it listed in the USPSA classified.
  4. So is this going to be available in the USA? Looks nice!!!!!!!!!! Go Pinoy!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Hi Henning, Whats the status on the extended base pad for the 170mm? Cool site. Are you going to sell complete guns too?
  6. I still remember my first match. I had the best time. I got there 1 hour earlier and brought 300 plus rounds not knowing. Just shoot your best while being safe and have fun.
  7. Chuck, Is your gun chambered in a .40 cal? I have been thinking of converting my spare Para into a modified division gun. Does your gun fit the IPSC box?
  8. Any of your great shooters at Richmond will do. I know for a fact that there are some great shooters that shoots at Richmond. Filho, Todd, James, Alvin, Ed Bond, Steve to name a few.
  9. If you are like me, forever, or maybe until you get old and you can't see. I agree with Loves to shoot. I got to a point (aging sucks) that I needed the tape more now. I decided that I have to use this method to see my front sight well. At one point I got frustrated that I switch to Open, but my love for Limited I could not ignore so now I shoot with the tape on my glasses. It's not to bad. You get use to it????
  10. I thought about that as an option. But I would love to understand why it is doing it. I will call Henning also. I have called Beven already. I was hoping that others went through the same thing and have a fix?
  11. I recently change my follower and springs in my EAA/Tanfoglio to a Beven Grams and caused me with feeding problems. The best to describe this is when the slide goes forward the bullet moves forward and does a nose dive into the bottom of the feed ramp causing the feeding problem. I know that I should probably go back to using stock followers and springs but the Grams followers allows me to have 20 rounds instead of 17. I would love to make the Grams set up work. I am using stock base pads with 11 coils on Grams follower. I have tried 1.15 and 1.17 of AOL in my bullet still the same results. I am using Zero 124 JHP. Anyone has ideas on what is causing my feeding? Your inputs will be appreciated.
  12. Can anyone post a link to this match? My friend and I are thinking about going. I have never been there before and would also like to know how to get there? Thanks.
  13. I tried the Trojan in .40, but after attempting to get it to feed reliably with a myriad of mags, I gave up. Yes, I could have sent it to a "well known" smith for modifications at a cost, but why should someone have to do that after paying $900+ for a supposed "top of the line" pistol. Bought a Kimber .40 Custom II. Fed 100% out of the box and runs like a top. Only modifications were changing the sights to Heinie's and adding an S&A magwell. With those mods, it was still less than $900. If you can afford a "high end" 1911, look to Wilson or Nighthawk Custom. They will build pistols in .40S&W. I would agree!!!!! Why should anyone have to send a BRAND NEW gun to a gunsmith to make it work after paying $900. A person I know exactly went through the same experience with the Trojan. Are all STI like that???? I have heard about their Edge doing the same???
  14. I started with a G34 several years ago. The glocks are great but I don't like the grip angle. It was a little getting used to when switching from production to limited with my STI. Now I have a XD Tactical. Works great for me and the grip angle is the same as STI or 1911 style. Both have gunsmith support with the trigger and parts. But Glock has it beat when it come to after market parts.
  15. Have the Dissipator. It is my first AR. They are okay in my opinion. Nothing wrong with them. I do however have a colt and RRA now. You can never have enough.
  16. I have one in a 9x19. I have no problems with it using major.
  17. I have the same problem. Last club match after shooting several months in open class, I decided to go shoot limited. (To lazy to clean open gun ). It happened, I was just point shooting. I was focusing more on the target rather than the front sight. Called my buddy "Loves to shoot", He said "Spot on the target, front sight, spot on the target , front sight...This is a must". So I went back to dry firing focusing on looking at a spot on the target then swithching to the front sight and so on. Hope this helps.
  18. I know what you mean. It took me over 2-3 months just to get my regular magazines from them. But the issue was a lot of people/retailers are buying mags. I talked to Henning (sponsored shooter) and he is also waiting for the 170 mm mags also. But for now all we can do is hope and wait. I for one will be trying to fabricate 170mm myself.
  19. Not sure if anyone knows this, but I was told by EAA that they are expecting 170mm mags this first quarter. I hope it happens. Can't wait.....
  20. Hi Guys, I am new to this forum. I am also very interested in the 170mm mags. I have a Tanfoglio 9mm open major. I like this gun a lot. I like it so much that I am going to shoot it the entire next year in major level 3 matches. I have also been emailing EAA and Tanfoglio about importing the magazines. I think EAA is working/testing them??? But no outcome at this time. I also think that paying over $300 for a magazine it a little steep. I just gotten to the point that I ordered several magazines from EAA and will be converting them into 170mm. I received confirmation that my mags are coming. I hope that my welder/machinist can make them. I will let you guys know of the outcome. I am open to suggestions that you gentlemen have in fabricating this mags. Merry Christmas to all.
  21. Can anyone tell me how to get a hold on Manny? I would like to take his class.
  22. Hey Vince, I am thinking of joining the match with Ceasar. I could you let me know when the match dates are. Thanks.
  23. Hi, I am new to this forum. I just want everyone to know that I have had this Witness Gold Team in 9mm for almost half a year now. I really love this gun. It is the flattest shooting open gun I have owned. It is on the heavy side, maybe that is why it shoots flatter? Not sure? I am very happy with it including the price. Cant beat the $1400 price vs. $3000 on SV/STI. Henning is a great source of info. The guy is great. Loves to Shoot tried it and you know his comments.....
