  1. Welcome to the forum....slot of great people here and very informative. I'm sure that an answer you seek will be found here. Best of luck to you
  2. Great test. Pretty shocked on the results you came up with not going to lie. I know frog lube is absolute garbage and tell everyone I see with it to stay away from it...now I have something to back it up. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. IMHO 2 matches a month is great. I try to do 1 a month and try and live fire more. I get more out of live fire than a match. Start listening to shoot fast podcast. Cody Axon and Joel Park are great dudes to listen to. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. I've been shooting 3 years now and got into it hard this winter. I have seen lots of progress already. Never realized how much dry fire helps. Good luck brother. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. You're not lying. Paper GM is one thing but to compete at the top level of a major or national match everything goes into it. Movement, speed, efficiency, etc. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. I dry fire 5-6 days a week and normally 20-45 minutes a day. A few weeks here and there I miss a few days. I follow the Ben Stoeger books that he has written and they work great. I try to live fire ever other week to validate the dry fire I am doing. I currently just started this routine this winter in December. I am currently a B Class Shooter and ofcourse my goal is to become GM [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Makes sense....I may try this seems cheap and easy enough. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. Is this supposed to help with the trigger rocking left or right as it travels rearward prior to breaking. I'm asking because my S3 does rock left and right a descent amount. But I havent had any issues with it. What issues will this help or fix? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. @acer2428 I ordered a few PD 14# hammer springs and all springs are different lengths....thisnsi the inaccuracy between spring manufacturing. You must cut a coil or 2 off the length and it should not coil bind on you. With that being said cutting the coil WILL NOT make it a 13# spring. It still acts like a 14#. Hope this helps. 10. Yes that work will 100% set off Winchester Primers. I also exclusively run Winchester and have no issues once I figured put the hammer issue I was having with the titan. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  11. Also clean the chamber really well prior to the test...carbon build up will have a major factor with this test. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  12. You shouldnt have to worry about the benchmark on how far the round sticks out. I had that issue....as I reload....if it spins and when you push the round in as far as it will go (ie: push it hard into the chamber) and then turn the barrel upside down. The round should fall out on it's own then those rounds will work fine. If it does not do this test then the round is "too long OAL" @patriotdefense does a chamber team for cheap and worth it. They have a quick turn around as well. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. Hey I have had some firing issues in the past. You said here that DA is 8#. Have you tried replacing you hammer spring. The spring can be worn out. You dont necessarily have to go heavier but buying a few of the springs and replace them when you start getting light strikes. Not sure if you have tried this. I have a S3 and running a 14# PD hammer spring and dont usually have issues until I hit the 5K round mark. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. OH, who is a decent grip mfg? None of my CZ ones have stuff for Tanfo [emoji20] I'm not sure about the ammo issue you have seeing that I have never used Autocomp. Buuuuut....i have 2 sets is grips I'm looking to get rid of...I have a set of blue EGW Aluminum grips, and a set of Blue Boogie Lok grips. Lok grips are amazing and the choice for most for Tanfos. 15. Yeah 13# is light for CCI primers. Try the 15.5# Patriot Defense Hammer Spring it will not add much weight in DA or SA pull weight. I would check out the smaller safety as youll be able to grip it higher without accidentally engaging the safety which was my issue. Once I switched I was much happier. Another remedy you can do is mark your originally oversized safety and cut the extra off making it flush with the frame. This is all that is done with the extended safety you will be purchasing. Remember in carry optics division you must start hammer down and have a DA first shot so the safety does nothing in this division. I would agree that the Tandoglio just fits my hand better than the CZ. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. @Truckin_Thumper I ordered a single sided safety.. it's not the extended but these are the weights I came up with. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. What you are doing to yours is the way to go...I cant wait until you get yours back from@PatriotDefense getting milled out and we can do some testing. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. Like everyone is saying here brother 13-14# PD hammer Spring, reduced power Sear spring, reduced power trigger return spring, one piece sear, and a bunch polishing will get you a solid competitive crisp 5.5-6# DA and 2-3# crisp SA Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. I would agree 100 percent....took the over travel screw out completely and took more off the BOLO to induce more pretravel. I personally like about 3/16" of pretravel. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. The Henning lightened firing pin is extended. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Sorry yes that is needed only for pretravel adjustment and double action throw distance of the hammer. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. Je85 is right 5.5# DA and sub 2# SA with just these parts. I have spent hundreds on hammers and spring and stuff to find out that's all that was needed. Dont waste your time with the TITAN hammer. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. How does one get on said list?! I would love to get on it. I also heard that the state side US models were going to be hard chrome. Any truth to this? If so this is going to be one sexy piece. Definitely stoked about it. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks for posting this...super excited to get my hands on one and have my stock III as a backup.@patriotdefense is there going to be a waitlist offered? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. I know someone that did that and let me tell you it worked flawlessly!! [emoji39] I think he should start marketing them.... just saying lol. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
