  1. Try frontlinearmsinc.com Tel - (864) 607-6470
  2. Looking for new or will you consider used?
  3. Remove the spring and stretch it. Not a lot but it will solve your issue. That is until the next time you have to stretch it.
  4. By 11 coil Grams Spring/Follower kit. You need a longer spring for the extended base pads. See link below for example. https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Grams-SpringFollower-Kit-CZ-Tactical-Sport-Czechmate-P4541.aspx
  5. I plan to build a CZ P09 for Carry Optics. Settled on using CZC mag extensions but confused about which springs to use. I prefer Grams but cannot find definitive information regarding availability/fit. Willing to use a different type of spring (CZC, Wolff, etc.) but information is scarce/confusing. Anyone running 140mm mags for a P09 with information willing to share?

    Max capacity 140mm

Ryan, any issues with the 10 coil springs reliably feeding. I see CZC also offers a 13 coil spring for the P09 as well.
  7. How exactly do you guys use the One Shot? During tumbling or after? And if after what is the procedure?
  8. I did reach out to Dillon today and as usual customer service is excellent. Have a couple spares headed my way. The customer service rep did recommend placing a small drop of lubricating oil on underside of bolt head to reduce friction. Thought I would share.
  9. No case lube. I am tumbling in corn cob media and using brass polish. It does seem that any pressure against the bolt is on the downward stroke as brass releases from powder funnel. Unless IronicTwitch is right about seating primers. Do you have a case lube that you would recommend?
  10. I agree, that's why I was thinking there was something I'm missing.
  11. I do press the handle forward "solidly" because if primer is not seated all the way sometimes will not go boom. However, it doesn't seem excessive. Regarding removing broken bolt, luckily I was able to remove it both times with my fingers.
  12. I have a Dillon Square Deal and primarily load 40 S&W. Have had for about 1 year and loaded around 12,000 rounds. During that time I have broken 2 shell plate bolts. Is this a common problem with Dillon SD? Any advice on how to prevent or what might me going on?

Thanks for the information. May I ask what optic you are running and do you like it or would you recommend another?
  15. I have a friend that runs a CM in Open. (9mm major) He uses jacketed bullets because he says coated bullets (blues) fouls his comp and it's hard to clean. Anyone running a CM or any other comped gun that is using coated bullets with no issues?
  16. Thanks for the information. I am running the 13 lb also for 170 pf using 180 gr bullets. For my grip, the 16 lb spring caused the second shot in the double tap to hit low to target.
  17. Same here with the CBC headstamp brass. 90% of rounds I reject using Hundo are with CBC brass.
  18. See attached/below for direct message from CZ. Typically the longer spring will have the highest lb rating however the longest also typically has more coils. The 2 non-16 lb springs have the same number of coils so the longer one has the lower lb rating.
  19. Thanks for the information! Confirmed with CZ-cz that the three recoil springs are 11 lb, 13 lb and 16 lb. The 16 lb spring is tapered at one end and the gun ships with this spring. The other two springs are 11 lb and 13 lb. HOWEVER, the longer spring is the 11 lb. The 11 and 13 have the same number of coils but the 11 lb spring is longer.

Do you plan to have the slide milled or use a dovetail optic mount?

Anyone have experience with the CZ P09 in USPSA Carry Optics? Pros / Cons??
  23. Is there any coincidence that both bullets that aren't passing have the "CBC" headstamp? The Hundo gauge is awesome. Usually if a round doesn't pass I inspect the brass for defects and if none found I run it through the crimp die only once more and recheck. If it still fails it goes into the practice box.
