  1. I know this is off the topic a little but .40 minor vs 9mm.
  2. So under the new rules in production is a drop in trigger go to go.
  3. What basepads are you running on the mags? Sorry for the delay. I have Dawson's on all the mags
  4. not always, I have worked several civilian shootings and the defendant gets their weapon back in a reasonably quick time. I guess It may be different in other jusidictions but in N.E. Alabama we have a good turn around time.
  5. Bamabound. Did you make it to CMP? I checked my phone a few times to see if you had texted. Mine ran like a rented mule, now me on the other hand just sorta trotted like a limping dog hahahahaha
  6. It worked great. Got 20 in all 3 ACT mags.
  7. I have ran mine with .40 minor and major to include federal factory 180 and had zero issues with the gun so far. I have had a issue with the nickel para P16 mags from midway and Dawson plates. They are to short and won't lock up without a good smacking, seems the mag being short causes the base plate to hit the mag well. Now the factory ACT mags from Greg Cotes are 100% so far.
  8. SC. I did that today and I hoping that settles them in. And loading those springs is a thumb breaker hahahaha
  9. I added the Dawson Extensions, Arredondo springs and followers with the ACT mags from cotes and I can only get 18? im hoping they loosen up some
  10. I've been running a Mp5 and it is very hard to not go happy auto on plate racks hahahaha
  11. Thanks guys. I think I have settled on a 13 for now.
  12. Yeah I ran some American Eagle 180gr thru it fine. Recoil on the 180gr wasn't bad.
  13. How's the 13? And what PF are you shooting
  14. Yeah Keegan's is a little different. I'll be at the next match and will have it with me. Bring some 40 with you and run it hard lol
  15. I just picked a Ultra Match up. Ran it like a rented mule for 100 or so rounds, American Eagle 180gr, and it felt good and was reliable. I know 100 reds isn't that much but it was a hard 100. I'm in Oxford and will be at the CMP USPSA matches feel free to shoot mine if your there.
  16. Anyone know what the factory poundage is on the recoil spring?
  17. For $70 i'd def give it a try for 3gun lol.
  18. I use a Magpul UBR as well and love it, a little heavy but it is rock solid and balances my LWRC out well.
  19. Well I'm new to 3gun but I'm 20 years in LE with 16 in Tactical operations. I have banged steel, standard sized uspsa style out past 300 with a 12.5" on up to a 18". the one thing i teach new operators is the rifle is a tool and with any tool you should know what it will do when used properly. now i prefer a 14.5 pinned of most any type as i never have needed to shoot sub-MOA with a 5.56 anyway. And I'm sure others have said this but it really depends on your environment. Here in Alabama much over 150 yards is a stretch for most matches, or so i hear.
  20. Glad you posted this..I haven't been on PM lately and just saw where Rcbs was new to the brand list. I was going to post it so now I'll just keep this post alive.
  21. Bullets,, dang things keep ricocheting back and finding me. Been hit 6-8 times in month. My buddies won't stand around me now lol
  22. I'm sure I'll upgrade one day. I don't mind having extra guns lol. But ask my wife now that's a different story hahahaha
  23. Lol. Sometimes you just need a nudge!
  24. Yeah I was just meaning the Hi-Cap side of the house on the 2011 comment. . I have played with a Para P18-9 and it felt good in my hands. I have med sized hands but always get a better feeling out of large frame, well Glocks to be exact, pistols.
