  1. Can the ts be shot in any division in idpa? Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  2. Or just press the round into a sturdy surface such as reloading bench and remeasure. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  3. Just to make sure I'm understanding correctly: You bought a .40 upper, then got a conversion barrel to make it 9mm, then put that on a 9mm gun? Why not save the intermediate step and get a G34 slide? I got the lone wolf 35 slide from someone for $200, it was brand new and never used. Came with sights and an OEM Glock 35 barrel. To each his own I guess. They're $175 new and naked. Since you changed out the barrel right away, I wouldn't consider that a gain. I've just been looking into this option to put together a limited major gun on my g34 frame.

  5. So looking at the Nordic, I assume I don't need 2 kits. Can I just get the +2 kit and then a +6 tube?Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  6. Looking to get a +2 and +8 tube for my gun. What are some of the ones I should look at? Sorry for the noob question. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  7. This not illegal. In limited open or limited 10 you can do this Right, I don't think you can run this in production.
  8. Interesting... I never realized KKM barrels were that much more accurate. Do you have to fit them to your Glock or are they drop in? They're drop in. Only reason I got one was to shoot lead out of my glock. Some people will carry on about KKM vs Storm Lake vs Lone Wolf, etc. In my experience (Storm Lake in G17 and KKM in G34) they're very close.
  9. This. IF you want to crimp, very slight crimp only just to prevent bullet setback. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  10. I don't think I've even seen a combo seat and crimp die for 223. Personally I don't crimp my 223 loads. Just make sure the brass has enough neck tension Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  11. I assume we're not hearing the full story. However, one should not be banned from shooting matches at a club because of an online post - within reason. If you threaten someone's life, that's a different story. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  12. Guess I'll have to see when I get it. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Lou. Will be ordered shortly. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  14. This. There are ways to save on costs too. I buy pulled bullets as my practice ammo. Its cheaper and does a fine job when accuracy doesn't need to be 100%. So my practice ammo is around 7c for 9mm. Much better than store bought. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  15. Can't I have a +2 for nj? I thought the max here is 6+1 Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks guys for the input. I'll be ordering a m3k. Any advice on where to get tubes? Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  17. I'm having the same issue with my G34. High to the left. I got the high part taken care of w/ new sights, but even with the rear sight drifted all the way to the right, gun is still shooting left. Would Glock send a new locking block or is it something I have to spend $ on to get fixed? You have a link to the locking block for a Gen 4?
  18. Thank you for the feedback. I load strong hand so I might want to go crazy on the port later but am torn if the SN is worth the $100.
  19. i only tumble my rifle rounds after loading. Pistol just goes into an ammo can for storage.
  20. So you're seating and crimping in 2 separate steps? What brand dies? Only happens with 45ACP?
  21. I've been trying to sell mine as well. You sell locally?Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  22. Someone posted the MSDS sheet upthread. Water will be somewhat effective, but carbon dioxide will have no impact on smokeless powder burning.
  23. I have the same issue when loading 45. My issue is with my dies - running Hornady and seat/crimp in one die. It likes to shave a tiny amount of brass off on the crimp and that makes it stick. Are you doing it in 2 stations?
  24. For SSP: Check out Rule 8.2.1.3.11: Replacement of barrel with one of factory configuration that uses the original cartridge. Also, the only real restrictions regarding barrels in SSP is to change the cartridge or use a non-ported barrel in a ported gun.
  25. As long as it's not comped and same length as stock, don't see why it wouldn't be.
