  1. I do it regardless LOL, I think it looks badass. But then again, I got the idea from watching the movie triple tap
  2. I think Im way too cheap, but I spend hours after matches cleaning up the brass that no one cares to pick up and I usually leave with a 5gal bucket full. I go home, tumble, sort, and it ends up on calguns LOL. I make some pretty decent money selling tumbled brass. As a college student, it helps me afford to shoot more.
  3. I usually shoot with good buddies of mine so we always give eachother crap. But Ive always taken it as joking around so I never let it affect me but take it as motivation to shoot better than them. If I ever encounter someone I dont know who starts trash talking me, I would definitely bring it up with the match director and have something done about it.
  4. I personally own a KSC/KWA g17 clone and it fits really nice in my safariland made for real g17s
  5. (i used to work for evike) the VFC system is based off of the Tokyo Marui gas system, therefore the feet per second will be a little bit lower, but it is still by far a better shooter than the we tech. I own the VFC one personally.
  6. I used to work for evike.com, so I used to see what most of the better/frequenter players would use. Generally they would either run .25grams or .3 gram bbs. I would recommend the elite force bbs. They are some of the best feeding ones out there.
  7. I worked for evike.com for a while. The best trainer i can say for you to buy is a KWC tanfoglio. The trigger is actually really nice and it runs off of CO2 so it's not really temperature sensitive.
  8. Just get the standard 9l and switch out the trigger and other small parts. The pro from what i have been TOLD is only a bit better than stock.
  9. If you can't figure out the problems, I am always looking for a long slide lemme know haha
  10. Yeah, never go with promag LOL, they seem to have screwed up every magazine design out there...
  11. From what I have been told, the ACT magazines work pretty damn well. But in all honesty, how many mags do you really need...id say about 6-7 total. Just go factory.
  12. Skils>Tools absolutely right...you gotta be able to shoot first before you start switching things out on your gun..
  13. are you using taran's springs? LOL if youre using stock springs that may be the problem
  14. i just listen for the plate falling and how solid i connected with the plate...but once in a while i do get a plate still standing
  15. When i start shooting faster and faster, for some reason it becomes natural for me to start point shooting....i know i wont get the best accuracy but thats just what happens with me. but ive noticed i squint (though it may already seem like im squinting since im asian) when i start having to take precise shots.
  16. i don't think there's a rule against nodding in any practical shooting sport. some folks nod or say something, others don't.personally, i usually just visualize getting the gun up and to the first target. Everything else should happen on autopilot. All other preparation should have been done before then. How my local club runs it, the RO usually says "shooter give me a nod when youre ready" i shoot uspsa. is there anything wrong with that? It's not an "official" range command. They're supposed to ask "Are you ready?", and if you don't say "Not ready" or something similar within a couple of seconds, then you are assumed to be ready. I prefer not having to actually say or nod that I'm ready. It's in the rule book e5. And yes your local is doing it all wrong. People who know the rules hate chatter that's not in the range commands. There are reasons for only using official range commands. Read the rule book. It's all in there. someones gotta bring a copy of that rulebook to the range T___T oh well...surprised no one has caught that at my local club.
  17. As a retired 1sgt, im sure a lot of people would test your patience haha thanks for serving and protecting my freedom to bear arms...(though obummer has ruined most of that as well as my state of CA)....
  18. hmm, sounds good, thanks for the suggestion. guess the extra money is for the better quality. though i have not heard much about problems with the m3k.
  19. hmmm....im still far from that level but i guess that shows something LOL....i guess if imma get it taranized, might as well go all out...i hate being a broke college student...
  20. seriously? where on earth are you looking....tell me please. LOL i can only find them used for around 900-1000 and thats if it hasnt already sold yet...
  21. LOL i didnt mean it that way. but thanks. Time to start digging. I might end up with a m2....but who knows, maybe a cheap m1 will pop up, but since i think buying once and crying once might just be the way to go in this case, i will just pass on the m3k. thanks.
  22. How are you guys doing, I am interested in getting into the 3 gun scene and maybe once in a while going duck hunting. Question now is whether I should go cheap and get a stoeger m3k or go all out and get a benelli m1/m2. Either shotgun i choose will end up going to Taran to get Taranized. Taran has suggested that if i wanna save a bit of money, buy an M1 instead of an M2. Now to get into the technical differences, what does the m2 have that the m1 doesnt and vice versa. And also, what am i lacking by going with a m3k instead of a benelli? Thanks guys!
  23. basically whatever you're used to like shakman said. personal preference.
  24. ive shot both, i personally enjoy flat triggers on pistols and tradition triggers on rifles. i just couldnt get used to a flat trigger on my AR....but thats me LOL...all up to you. get a hiperfire 24c
  25. I personally went with the strike eagle 1-6. i like the 1-8 capability but the horseshoe was kinda eh to me...
