  1. Got lucky and snagged 11k off midway a week or two ago. Hadn't seen them on shelves or online in a gorillion years.
  2. Titegroup. Except while I'm cleaning filthy Titegroup out of my 9s. Then it's N320.
  3. Prod - CompTac Intl. on a BOSS hanger. Lim - Bladetech on a BOSS hanger. Why? I'm not high-speed enough to get anything from a racier holster (yet ).
  4. Funny, I'm trying Racers now for Prod. after Lim. use and having some similar thoughts. Waiting to see how more time and practice with them pans out. CR Speed Versas have great "grabability" for M&P mags. Flipped so they sit lower on the belt and they're still quick and easy draws. Only issue I've had with them is the typical screw loosening, particularly after sloppy draws torquing them a bit. Loctite red usually does the trick.
  5. 6. 1 gun, 3 belt, 2 spares. I like overkill.
  6. For the factory rods you'll see one end will accept an allen wrench. It screws off an on but can be a hassle. I put mine in a bench vise with grippy plastic jaw covers and curse at it until the process is complete. I had a rod end screw fly off into the sunset once while shooting (it turned out the Slide Glide instructions weren't lying when they say don't overdo it), so tighten the screw back on snug or add some Loctite blue.
  7. Tried a few weights for my M&P Pro 9, down to 11#, and settled on ISMI 13#s on S&W factory guide rods. I suggest grabbing a few different ones to see which you prefer and shoot best with.
  8. Another vote here for backpacks for beat up neck/back/shoulders. I ditched my old shoulder bag and got one of LA Police Gear's "Operator" backpacks. Pros: Wears pretty comfy, good pockets layout, good handles, removable waist strap, colors other than black so your crap doesn't get sucked into the Bermuda triangle, sturdy material and lining, haven't had any stitching problems, side pockets big enough to hold water bottles, stands upright on it's own, cheap price/good value. I don't use the molle but it has enough to look like a X-mas tree. Cons: Haven't had any to complain about. I pulled a pull string off a zipper but easy fix.
  9. I don't have my chrono logs handy but recall 2.9 gr being on the weak side of PF from my M&P 5". Settled on 3.2 gr TG, Bayou 147s, 1.135 OAL. Soft shooting and comfortable PF buffer.
  10. Love them thrashers. And I didn't have to pay extra for normal colors, as one does with some other brands that look like the consequence of unicorns eating spicy neon rainbows.
  11. I had the same issue OP, and have been satisfied with the CZC extended already mentioned. If you're going to install it yourself you may need to do some final fitting.
  12. What's in my bag is way too much crap to list. I'm going to buy a smaller one so I'm compelled to remember that I'm going game shooting for a bit, not to survive an alien zombie apocalypse.
  13. Other: Dillon 650 with case feeder.
  14. Welcome aboard matey. I snagged Brian Eno's book from the store page and found it a great book. Very informative on both the mechanical and the mental aspects of the game.
  15. Hey all, After finding this forum and soaking up some knowledge (thanks everyone for sharing so much good stuff and discussion!) the lightbulb fizzled on in my head and I joined. Looking forward to learning more from you all and contributing where I can. Also I'm *finally* about to move into a house that can support my unrealized reloading addiction, so am looking forward to filling the basement with blue gear and bullets in a month or two. Take it easy, Ryan
  16. Apex FSS and aluminum trigger kit was nice in my 2015 manu. M&P Pro. Only reason I swapped the stock trigger back in was for production rules. Currently: Stock trigger, Apex Comp spring kit, hard sear, and USB plus some typical part polishing = smooth pull ~ 3 lbs.
