I run a els belt with a 014 safariland open holster it attaches directly to belt and is the most secure I've found ... Great holster when locked it's next to impossible for it to fall out
Recently acquired some 180gr bayou fp 40 bullets .. Looking to see if anyone has a good load for the bullet using titegroup ? It will be shoot through a 5.1 sti eagle used for uspsa so as close to major power factor as possible
Hi guys been trolling the forms for a while figure I would join in the conversations ... I'm from southern Idaho been shooting uspsa and 3 gun for about a year now and enjoying every minute of it ..
Don't bother looking at the weather report living in southern Idaho if u don't like the weather wait 15min it will be different .. Have shoot in pouring rain, snow, and 100+ degree temps and enjoyed it all .. Some more than the other but still fun
I try and hit one 3 gun a month and two uspsa events a month ... Go back and forth between which I like better .. I gave up golf, hunting and fly fishing for shooting .. No matter what I find myself doing that's not shooing I'm always thinking and planning when I'll be shooting next ... I sold of my snowmobile and rzr to fund my addiction and still not done getting stuff
I've been running one for the last year I really like the scope switched from a pst 1-4... Have had no issues with it and really like the reticle and glass is crisp and clear
Thanks for all the input guys ! Taking it out again today to try and zero and then gong to try running it at local uspsa match Saturday see how it goes
It's on a glock sjc side mount took me about a hour of banging my head against the wall and waisting ammo to realize the the up and down adjustment were actually moving the dot left to right ... What's a good distance to zero at once I do get it close ?
Just acquired my first open gun and am having a hell of a time trying to zero the cmore seems like I get close and then make a small adjustment and I'm way off again ... Is it normal for them to be so touchey ? What's the best way going about it ? I'm very new to this so any help would be appricated .. Thanks
