  1. No more blasphemous than using a Lee disk! Oh ya by the way the disk measure works great, you just have to feed it more often!
  2. I like it just the way it is ! I look down and see a primer I know I have a case without one.
  3. I would also figure the liability. You know as well as I do if some DUMB A## got hurt it wouldn't be there fault!
  4. I started with a Rock Chucker at age 14, at about 35 got a Pro 1000 (I needed allot of pistol ammo) at 37 wore it out! So I listened to a wise old friend that said if "If I were you I would buy the best Dillon I could afford wish I had". Well I did and that was a 650 I am now 55 and have never regretted my purchase and still use the Rock Chucker too.
  5. Holy cow I bought mine in 94. (I think) I thought they had been around long before I bought mine!
  6. What I did was get the caps and snapped them on. Like this http://www.fastenercomponents.com/products/standard-round-head-knob-p-246.html?zenid=faeac96b18acf249be90a452503cd480 I found them at Tru-Value. They work on Powder Measures too!
  7. You must have the super secret, black ops, special covert version of Dillon's 650. 6 stations? Pat Super secret, black ops, special covert version of Dillon's 650. H*ll yes or just plain old tired when I answered!
  8. If you are shooting 9mm in a Glock I had to put a Lee factory crimp die in station 6.
  9. sigsauerfan just what part of the world are you in? If someone on here has a 650 and is fairly close I'm sure they would come fix/teach. I know I would I am in NE Pennsylvania.
  10. I do and I did have the same problem! First I mounted the die like a sizing die to center it, polished the brass tip just rounding the corners on a buffing wheel. Worked for me!
  11. Looks good to me !! Just don't put the die head pin in or trim in another position. I have a 650 don't know if there is room to move it on a 550.
  12. If you had a RF-100 attached to the press in any way the vibration would screw up your powder weights.
  13. OOPS! Forgot to say, I cut my ball handle up into powder funnels!
  14. My plastic is round and black colored, no groves ridges bumps or lumps just a roller handle. I got it when they first came out. I always figured they were the same just one plastic and one aluminum.
  15. I have the plastic roller handle, what makes the aluminum one so much better?
  16. Just a thought if it isn't the primer plunger it might be the loaded round hanging up on the ejector wire. It is easy to check when it it hung up just wiggle the round that is being ejected.
  17. I would like to make a drive unit for my 650. The only thing I know is a gearhead motor about 13 RPM. You will have to fabricate a slip clutch of some sort. Someone out there has to have made one pics would be good too.
  18. I just fire off a e-mail and the replacement for my parts kit i here before I know it! I tore down my press and replaced almost every part in my kit, e-mailed Dillon and in a week ALL of the parts I replaced were in my mailbox! You can't beat that with a stick!!!!
  19. I have one of the knob things like people use on P/M (they make them to fit Allen head) on mine, just a couple turns and it's off or on.
  20. I had what sounds about the same and Dillon sent me the housing the powder bar slides in, worked like a charm for years now.
  21. Midway just might be the Wal-Mart of reloading supplies! Could be Dillon has a good reputation and doesn't want to ruin it by manufacturing a economy grade of equipment like Remington and others did for Wal-Mart. Well Mike D. did I hit the nail on the head?
  22. jmorris will your collator feed cast & lubed bullets? If it will please tell us how to make it.
