Because of the number of magazines, do you carry bullets out? Although I am a big guy, I am thinking that 5 magazines would be hard to accommodate otherwise. Which magazine holders do you prefer? Do you use a magnet? Thanks for the help.

I plan on going back to shooting USPSA Single Stack using 45acp major. How many magazines do most people wear on their belt? Thanks

It seems once there is a Division, even if it is just provisional, it is here to stay. I can’t remember one ever going away.

That is pretty close to my 4.8 gr VV M320 behind a 180 gr Zero JHP out of a Nowlin 5” barrel in an STI. I am sold on N320; might be a bit more expensive than some others, but I have found it to be rock stable and low standard deviation. Oh yeah, it is clean burning which helps keep everything running.

Never quite understood why bull barrels were not allowed in SS. I don’t see them as that big of advantage. Maybe the Divisions need a bit of rework, but I think the current trend is towards rule stability for the foreseeable future.

Best point yet; Infinity doesn’t have the same problems and neither do smaller custom shops. Why not? Why don’t they change vendors?

I wonder out loud why they seem to have so much trouble with coatings while other builders do not. I still vote for Hard Chrome, however I don’t know what that fors for the tolerances.

I am one who favors SA Optics either as part of CO or as a separate division, however, I think it best we keep rules stability as it is for a few years. Let’s see how things shake out. Just one man’s opinion.

Their stated policy really worries me. Why put out such a thing if customer service is a priority?Maybe there is something I am missing. I have watched a bunch of their videos/podcasts; seem like really nice people. Seems the stated warranty is at odds with their personality’s.

It seems good coating contractors are hard to come by; maybe they overloaded, volume/pricing or standards issue. I wonder if hard chrome platers would do better?

Do the Guga Ribas mag pouches fit Glock magazines without using inserts? It is my understanding that inserts are only needed for single stack magazines. Am I correct , or inserts needed for Glock magazines? Thanks.

I wouldn’t be surprised if most ftf issues are magazine related. Usually the way with most 2011 type guns; that and extractor.

I just watched a YouTube video from “x-ring;” seemed like accuracy was good. Viewed the Chambers video; he seemed to indicate it had the makings of an accurate shooter. If the barrel is good, perhaps the lock-up needs to be tightened. I guess like most things, you take your chances. I do admire Springfield’s goal of producing a lower cost STI clone. Maybe it will create a trend.

Wow, I would not have expected such poor accuracy. I asked because most of the YouTube reviewers seemed to concentrate on the malfunction/failure to feed aspect of the gun. I didn’t see much of any qualitative accuracy testing, but I may have missed it,

I think you are right. Manufacturers will continue to bring out new models to fuel purchases so therefore rules will continually change.

I can live with that. Doing what manufacturers lobby for most likely sets a never ending bad precedent.

Yeah, probably will go the least popular route, that way almost no one would be happy. Nonetheless, I would like to see the BOD engage the membership and review all the Divisions to see if a better solution is out there. I have heard a lot of ideas kicked around on various Podcasts; would love to see them all flushed out and in one place for discussion. At the very least, it would be informative.

The more I think about it, Limited Optics and keep it major scoring. This would preserve CO as is, however, it would most likely hurt Limited. There should be a place for major iron sighted guns. Maybe just eliminate DA/SA from CO, however, that might eliminate a bunch of guns, but the manufacturers all seem to have SA guns. Probably the easiest way to go. Is SA really that big of advantage over the newer lighter trigger pulls of the striker fired guns? Really a hard decision to make. Might just leave everything alone for a while. One thing I would definitely do is change Production magazine capacity to that of CO.
