You will see it when you get there, maybe. They don't want anyone practicing and eliminating any local advantage there might be
that won't be fair. LOL

When gun owners start looking for reasons NOT to go to a match, the gun grabbers have won.
Come out and shoot, you'll have fun.
That is spot on, Brad.

Anyone know Ruger's involvement? Mike
Ruger and Hogue are co match sponsors of this years match 10-14-2022. This thread you posted on is from a couple years ago..

I am wondering where and how expensive your club insurance is and how much to add an Event rider, if you are having a bigger match. Also who are you getting it from. As soon as you mention guns most are telling me they don't do that. I have found one place that will do a 2 day event for the match, but it is quite expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use Trident Stage designer. It only has one Icore target so it is kind of limited, but the it does have a lot of uspsa/ipsc targets also. At times I use the uspsa targets in the stage design sketch and use the tombstone D-1 targets in the actual stage and the scoring is Icore/time-plus in my tablets using practiscore. To me the WSB is to give you an idea of what to expect in the stage. If the wsb shows a red car and the real stage has a blue car, big deal what is on the ground is what you are going to be shooting at.

I would suggest that you stick with 38 spl cases, the 357 might be a bit long. I cast and powder coat my 230's and they work great. Projectile is .915, and the loaded round is 1.605 OAL. Pictures of them and my dirty gun will show what I am talking about. I use 5.5grs. of Blue Dot, and am getting a soft shooting round that is around 180/190 PF. YMMV.

Is there a stage roundcount rule or shots per view rule like in USPSA ?
No not in Icore. It's common to use more shots per view to balance the reloads between 6 vs 8 rounds such as a 9 shot array.

I use the Lee 38 short colt roll crimp die for all of mine. Done on the last stage.
-
I use a 6 moa, or an 8 moa for Icore, Uspsa, and Scsa

@motosapiens Why were there crickets in the lobby of a hotel????!?!
We had a big locust hatch a few years ago, maybe that was what he's talking about. They covered the roads and parking lots all over town. Not a normal reoccurring thing. Seen it once in the 12 years I've been here.

GET HYPED.
I've seen the stages and we're looking at a good match. Even better - minimal teardown on Saturday because we're shooting the same stages for USPSA on Sunday (and we can make those shooters do it ). Also, no one is signed up in Classic right now; I'll flip over to that division if someone wants to come play with me.
See you all soon!
I think that Scott F. is coming, he has in the past. Classic GM

Moon Clip checkers are in stock. Moon CLips are not.

Sorry we must be looking at two different things, oh well have a nice day.

thanks @GMM50ill check the hammer components and yes I compete with it which is the main reason for me really caring about it being at 100%.
Where is a solid moonclip checker in stock? I dont really want to try revovlersupply again after the last issue.
And for those asking, I did take a glock out with me and got them to fire on the second go around
I guess that you are going to look elsewhere for a moonclip checker then as, GMM50, that answered you is revolver supply.

Wasn't that an icore match, and not USPSA? I don't know if their rules (or whatever discipline it was, if different from USPSA) allow for it or not. Assuming we are thinking of the same event.
If the rules are the same, or it was USPSA, then yeah... the RM shouldn't have done that.
It was an IRC for Icore, and at the time they had no rule about that happening, but they have since added a rule to allow it.

142 for my OSR, and 112 for rfpo using my 617.

Oh come on now we have "The Dark Tower" that might help?

Since when did we start recognizing Overall? For sometime now I have always be told that overall isn;t really a thing, just high score in a single division is what counts. Have I been told a story all this time? Obviously!

I have swapped emitters, to change dot size, and the poi didn't change. ymmv but it's quick and easy to do. That might be the fastest way if you need the gun tomorrow.
