They are easy to clean, are reasonably priced, John supports a lot of the shooting competitions around the country and they just work. I am running a couple of his that says 22 rimfire rifle on a couple pistols and a rifle and all with no problems

May want to look at one of John's 1911 22 Rimfire Conversion Comp - AllchinGunParts.com

I don't really know for sure, but I had seen a post on fakebook that Ruger has halted production of revolvers. I don't know where this guy got his information or if there is anything credible about that statement, or if he was just talking about single action revolvers. Have any of you out there heard anything or is this all BS?

And the rest of them. Still openings so sign up on Practiscore and come shoot with us.

If you are coming to this match and need a room yet you have only 2 weeks left and the rooms we have set aside go back to the hotel. Town is booked full that weekend so I wouldn't dawdle if you need a room.

Thanks everyone! A lot to digest here.
Mine is a 6". I'm changing the front sight to a fiber optic for sure and will look into your suggestions.
Speed bees look great and are pricey, I like the price of the DS-10 but wonder about quality and function long term?
Rebound spring at 14 lbs sounds good and my LGS is going to smooth out the action and install the spring.
I looked a couple of months for this model and came across it at a LG shop and bought it on the spot. It was on display for hours not days.
There were a couple of people interested before me but didn't commit.
I got lucky for sure!
The DS-10 are better in my opinion, the springs are tighter and hold the ammo better and they have lasted me for several years. The speed bees the ammo falls out alot the springs are weaker or not as tight. DS-10 for the win, better and cheaper in cost for me.

Lowest 90 degree mount for a revolver is Allchin. In a post awhile back I had included pictures showing the difference between a BMT and Allchin.
And to answer gargoil66 you do not have to remove the sight from the mount to adjust.Dean, could you repost the pictures?

I think there is also a rule about shooting back-to-back on same stage.
This is only for level 2 and 3 matches, BUT the MD can determine the shooting sequence as long as it's done prior to the start of the match and the competitors are informed. sec 8.4.2 and 8.4.3 , at all lower level matches.

i'm also in the process of putting together a PCC for uspsa and steel challenge. I just wanted to use the 10/22 as a starting point to getting him familiarized with a rifle.
This why if I were you I would use the s&w 15-22, it is closer to your PCC in looks and feel than a 10-22.

I think it has more to do with chewing tide pods and standardized testing in schools. Just a theory though.
I think that you're on to something right there, seems plausible to me.

ysrracer, what type of cylinder release is that?
That looks like a short, knuckle relief from Revolver Supply that is made by Revo-Gear. I run them on several guns.

Reach out to Dave Parker at Revo Gear. He makes a holder you wear on your belt that holds 6 mags.

It does seem like the brass ejects really far on both my Black Mamba and Ultralite when using Minimags or Blazers, or even AR Tactical. So they probably could use stronger recoil springs.
James, if it ain't broke don't fix it. It's working for you now I wouldn't mess with it.

Yikes. Seriously, S&W?
Is it the same issue with the V-Comp? I think they interface similarly; I guess what I took to be erosion could have been projectile strikes.
Matt there is enough wiggle in the fit and slop around the retaining screw if it gets loose or is not secured in the exact same place every time after taking it off to clean and reinstall you will have issues, so just drill it out larger so it's not an issue.
