  1. Remove the retention screw from the base pad. Push the pad off toward the front of the mag... the spring will deform enough as you push the base pad forward to allow you to remove the base from the mag body. To put the base back on you just push the spring into the body while putting the base on from the front of the mag body.

    P320 X5 Thread

Someone in a post a page or two up in this thread asked the source of these pistols for those of you that have been able to get them. I also would like to get on the list for one of these guns and was wondering where to call. Thanks.

    Training a kid

If it were me, I'd start with a .22 pistol or carbine (perhaps a Ruger 22/45 Lite or 10/22 carbine just because of the "go fast" stuff you can do to them if you choose) and I'd get him involved initially in steel challenge type games just because they don't require stage planning and movement and also don't require working from a holster. If he remains interested and has a desire, you can always jump to the run-and-gun games.

    Ruger 10-22 trigger job

If it were me I'd scoot over to http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php Do a search and you'll find just about everything there is to find on Ruger 10/22 triggers and how to make them better through your own handy work or someone elses.
  5. My original NFA firing pin lasted two rounds. Replaced it with a Rock River Arms 9mm pin. That one has gone over 800 rounds thus far... http://stores.9mmar.com/rra-9mm-firing-pin/ NFA did send a replacement for the broken pin. Presently, I'm using it as a spare.

    LOK Grips for EAA

I'll take a set if they fit Witness Match (large frame).

    Magwell Installation for Witness Match

Yes, grey grip tape on the front and on the back straps. Details are in this post: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=199234&p=2302812 The front sight on all three of my Tanfoglios are 0.105" wide and 0.180" tall. Two are Dawson (with factory rear supersights), and one is Henning (matched with his fixed rear sight). How do you like the Henning fixed rear versus the supersight on your Match. How much work to fit the supersights?

    22/45 Modified for 1911 grips

As far as I know, Kinghouse is still actively doing grip mods on the non-replaceable panel 22/45s. He is fairly active on the RimfireCentral.com forum and you should be able to contact him from there.

    Berry's bullets Dia.

I also recently bought 1000 berry's 124gr HBFP labeled 0.356 (as their web page also indicates). I didn't measure all of them; but those that I did (about a 2 dozen) were .3550 or .3555. They load and shoot just fine.
