  1. Thanks Guys, that's the reason I asked before buying. You are all so helpful. Now what am I going to buy, a 625 I guess cause the 610's are getting to rich for me, saw one on Gunbroker go for 802.77, it was a slightly used 4" barrel. Thanks again and God Bless Mac
  2. Hey I found a LNIB performance center S&W 646 4" has had maybe 100 rounds at most, my friend will sell to me for $700.00. What do the experts say?? I have a 610, kinda want this for a back-up for bigger matches. Plus you can never have enough wheelguns right? Thanks Mac
  3. Good one TRP. Hey guys and gals nobody is trying to "flaunt" we're just trying to let people who may not get a chance to talk with us, that we love the Lord Jesus Christ. If that offends, I'm not sorry. God Bless you all. Mac
  4. Hey Jed, A friend shot some .40's out of a 10mm Delta I believe and it didn't cycle well and really funked up the primers. The .40 uses small pistol primers, the 10mm use large pistol primers. I wouldn't recommend shooting them. Mac
  5. Sounds Great TRP. I have been thinking of a short verse or something short that would be a witness for Jesus. My wife said to use the fish with a cross and slogan. been fishing? what do you think. I kinda like shooting for Jesus, Jesus loves you. God bless you all. Mac
  6. Jeeper, When I read the title I was expecting someone had been in a hospital or jail for 5 months. Man get out of the job for awhile and shoot. You know the old saying " all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" See ya Mac
  7. Hey for all looking for 610, there is a 4" and 6.5" on gunbroker for sale good luck. Buy it then come to the Miss Classic next month. Mac
  8. Kudos DA, It's good to see the younger shooters getting involved, there is a young man at our local matches that has been shooting for quite a few years, he is safer than a lot of older men I shoot with. Tell him to keep up the practice and enjoy it. God Bless you both. Mac
  9. Hey Warp, You ever thought about leaving the Republik of Kalifornia?? We have room in Mississippi and would sell you a 610!
  10. Okay, what is their definition of practical. This is a game, a fun game. Hey if every shooter has the same targets to shoot at, what is the problem. I have seen the wind be a factor, so what it is the luck of the draw. Let's quit bickering and have fun again. Load and make ready!!
  11. Please let me have one, please let me have one. Okay I've praticed enough, now I will try it out on my wife/financial advisor. If I get it I'll let anyone drool, but please don't touch. LOL
  12. Okay Cheetah, I suppose the sun doesn't have as many candlepower? That is where all the "light" comes from don't it? Thanks
  13. See sarge we knew you were a wheelgunner at heart. Dust off that ole 610 and come to the Miss Classic in June. Good ole southern hospitality.
  14. Thanks Hoppy, Wish I could move up that fast on the score board as well. LOL Hey Glen, I want a badge for sure. Okay guys, we're getting close, think real hard know any shooters that can work a wheelgun, we don't really care how good they are at it.
  15. Thanks Tom, so much for the extra income, I need to come up with something that has lots of cash coming in while I am spending lots going out. Oh well
  16. Hey Robo, I just started, or started back to revo, I get the " do you think you got enough ammo" all the time. My reply is it's only 60 rounds along with the 6 I carry to the line. Now this is coming from an open shooter with 4 28 round mags, you do the math.LOL I run 6 shoot the moons and 2 blade tech doubles. I also get called Gabby a lot, that's fine they're just jealous they don't have a pretty 610 like mine.
  17. Okay please don't shoot the messenger. At a local match today, somebody posed the question why aren't there blue fiber optic sights. Cops use blue lights because you can see them twice as far as red lights. Do they make them? have you used them. If they don't make them, I want the copyright if they work good. I need the extra dough to spend on powder, bullets and such. LOL
  18. Welcome M1 to both the forum and the R.O. job. I became an R.O. because I feel that you have to put back into the sport in order for it to grow. Sometimes it's a thankless job, but more than once I've had shooters especially at Area matches shake your hand and say thanks. Like above commented, run as many shooters as you can, be observant of the shooter and the gun. Be lucky and have good R.O./CRO to work with. BTW this forum is very helpful, don't be bashful, just ask away, that's how you learn. Mac
  19. My 2 cents leave it 6 rounds, I just shot an ICORE match last sat in Thibodaux,La. and believe me the extra 2 rounds mean a lot!! It's kind of like letting a 28 round open gun shoot in production, think those extra 18 rounds would make any difference?
  20. So are we gonna have to check Bwana's Blood Alcohol Content before the matches now?? Just kidding Pat!!
  21. I can vouch for the quality of precision bullets, Dave Long is a great guy to deal with also. I have shot 155 and 170 gr. .40cal in my Para and my 610S&W no problems. Look at their website and they explain everything. The lead will melt before the coating.
  22. Hey Wheelgunner, has anybody invited you to the Ms classic in May? If not here it is. If we can get just a few more, the top 3 go to the nationals in 2007. See Ya.
  23. Okay, I ain't superstituous, but take me off of # 13 just skip that # leave it blank. I mean talk about putting a millstone around someone's neck, being behind the 8 ball, git my drift?? Hey Haras, bet we could get the shooters list from Annette and send a post card inviting them to the classic for some good ole southern hospitatlity. Holler if I can help. See Ya'll later!
  24. Hey Scooter, No problem with muzzle for DMH, we tend to overlook chemistry teachers. Boy they must be in a bind for teachers. LOL!! Hey we enjoyed it also. Daniel we too like to joke around when we shoot, if I wanted to be around a bunch of stuffed shirts, I can find them anywhere. I will see ya'll at Area 4 and Ms Classic. Mac
  25. It may or may not be, foul hooked I read. Oh well!! Heck ole George Perry and his family ate the real world record, mighty tasty he said.LOL
