    CZ 75 TS Orange

Does this mean there will be a sig 320 in the classified section? yeah, I am going to say no for now. I sold my ACCU and have been working on selling the Compact L but I am keeping my 9mm TS for the time being. Not sure what I am going to do with it but until I get the frame refinished it's not really in a condition where I could get anywhere close to what it's worth to me. I have done almost all the upgrades minus the thumb rest since that would prohibit me from being able to use a standard kydex holster for 3 gun.

Looks like the Czechmate magwell is standard on this one as well.

Because of the ACCU bushing? I thought we already covered that.^^^ joke here
  4. Please let us know how you like it. I handled Robert King's and it's definitely interesting. It was really surprising how little force is required to unlock the barrel.

Are these not showing up on there online store yet? No, they are not listed on the website and I really don't know why. You can call (603) 418-8102 to order. Also, several online shops who sell SIG pistols have these for sale in their Web stores but many are showing out of stock right now. When I called SIG today they said that the Medium and Large grips were in stock and would ship now. My small grips are back ordered and will ship whenever they come in. After using the one-time-use 20% off code that I got when I registered my SIG on the website for warrantee the grip frame modules were each about $36. Interestingly enough the guy on the phone asked me if I wanted to order magazines for 20% off using the same code even though the fine print excluded magazines. I didn't try so don't know whether that would work. Some have referenced using that code to order the caliber exchange kits at 20% off and it seems that more of those might be available beyond what is shown on the Web Store.

Thank you for your kind words. Single stack is on my to do list but I am still having too much fun with Production and 3 Gun to have gotten around to the 1911 platform. Best of luck shoving all those skinny mags into that skinny hole. This should be a very interesting year. I have never been sponsored or frankly never looked for a sponsor. In some sense I really don't fully know what to expect. I am of course honored to be a part of this ambitious program but I am also very excited about the process of building a new competition platform. For me I think that optimization process is almost as fun as the actual competition. I have been pretty honest and straightforward in the past about my view on things, my personal shortcomings, and my efforts to personally get better and don't foresee anything related to this project censoring me from communicating reality as I view it.

I'd guess it has a lot to do with the removable FCU. Outside of Production division you could modify the beavertail if desired. There is a bit of room under the FCU that can be relieved if you want to fill up some of the empty space with epoxy or other material. Being very familiar with Glocks I wanted to try this to see if it could help to control recoil. So far I am not sure whether I like it or not. I need to test a bit more to see if I can tell a difference but it almost feels like the stock shape puts more pressure on the top of my palm which gives me a bit better leverage to control the gun overall. One of the truly unique things about the P320 is that I can be fearless about performing extreme grip mods since an entirely new grip frame is only $36 away. I also can have different grips for different uses. This one was designed to be my 3 Gun grip so it has some magwell flaring, undercutting, and aggressive texturing. I just called the SIG Store today to order 6 more grips (two in each size) for additional playing/testing.

I don't think insides have anything to do with contour but maybe that's just me. con·tour ˈkänˌto͝or noun 1. an outline, especially one representing or bounding the shape or form of something. "she traced the contours of his face with her finger" synonyms: outline, shape, form; More

Production legality on the special slides is definitely a good question that got me thinking. After consulting the rulebook my personal opinion is that it would be legal as you can replace the slide with aftermarket or OFM provided they are the same length, contour, and caliber" as the original. The frame described would meet those criteria but would still, of course, be subject to overall weight restrictions. "21.3 After-market slides and barrels provided they are the same length, con- tour and caliber as original factory standard. SLIDES: Current rules remain in effect You may replace the slide with an OFM or aftermarket slide which is of the same length, contour and caliber as the original slide for that model of gun."

I think he said it was a Dawson adjustable for an XD. Custom machined into slide. If you compare it to the stock you can see that they milled down to the depth or the original dovetail and milled a new dovetail in further up the slide. It's a nice option.

That's a nice problem to have. Great group. You are really tempting me with your stippling job. I would love to see how the fees compared to the texturing I have been doing and skate tape.

Motosapiens, You are correct in assuming that there is something else going on behind the scenes. SIG and Gray Guns (GGI) both believe strongly in the potential of the new P320 platform to be highly competitive in USPSA Production and IDPA and have been working some very ambitious initiatives behind the scenes. These plans are leading up to an official announcement about a SIG Sauer team who will be competing with the P320. As I mentioned previously I have personally invested a lot of time and money up to this point in testing out the potential of the P320 for myself. This has included purchasing two personal P320 along with all of the trimmings and doing what I could to get those race ready. I have been very surprised and impressed at the platform and shortly after buying a personal stock I decided to focus on the P320 for competition in 2015 and I put my ACCU up for sale. Last week I was extremely honored to picked up a third P320 which is a dedicated SIG Sauer Team pistol that has been fully worked over by GGI. I am impressed by the platform and I very excited about seeing what I can do this season driving this gun in Production Division and 3 Gun. Results so far have been very encouraging and I have a lot of shooting goals this year that I hope to achieve running this gun. There are other excellent shooters out there who have gone through a similar journey as I have which has lead them to the P320. Some of them will also be formally flying the SIG banner with me this year. One of them will be TimH who has been dominating in SS with a SIG for years now and is about to unleash his skills on the Production Division competition driving the P320. More details about the team should be coming out shortly and when you see those it should give you a sense for SIG Sauer's commitment to this innovative platform and to continuing supporting the shooting sports as it has been doing honorably now for years.

Speaking of spending money, Springer Precision just listed his P320 140mm +4 basepads for sale. http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=307&categoryId=45

Since October I have bought two on my own dime along with purchasing additional magazines, Springer Precision basepads and grip tape, 5 large grip frame modules, 3 holsters, 5 mag pouches, Heinie and Dawson sights, GGI replacement guide rod, 1911 recoil springs, and assorted other accessories in addition to sending money to Bruce for pistol work. By my math the other day I have around $2,400 personally invested in the P320 platform so far so I feel okay sharing what I like about it.

Bases on that entry on the IPSC Production gun list I would say that the SIG P320 is legal. Looks like barrel lengths, weight, caliber, or other specifics aren't calling out besides being the one with the Nitrate finish.

Just got back from the in door range. It was my first time shooting my second full-sized P320 which arrived last week from Bruce Gray's shop. I normally ride the takedown lever and tonight tried the finger on the trigger guard as well. I think it showed slightly more control and less muzzle flip. I have pivothead video comparing both styles but haven't had time to assess in detail. Since getting the new grip was slowing down my draw a bit and since I felt like my standard grip gave me good control of the P320 I finished off my practice session using my standard grip which rides the takedown lever but doesn't put a finger of the front of the trigger guard. I will continue to investigate this but for now I am satisfied with what I had been doing. In other news, tonight I shot the fastest Bill Drill that I have shot in my entire life. With P320's stock trigger it was tough for me to get splits much below .19. Tonight, with the GGI enhanced P320 I was able to get splits in the .15 range. The total time was 1.68 with a draw of .83 and splits of .20, .15, .17, .18, and .15 with one Charlie. The gun doesn't get all the credit. I have been working hard at dry fire over the off season and started "scooping" out of the holster for hands at sides draws.

No idea. The ones that I have seen announced so far are all Compact sized guns. There may have been more shown at Shot but didn't make it out this year. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/11/06/sig-sauer-releases-p320-skus-2015/

I ride my thumb on the takedown lever now. It works a bit like a thumb rest on a limited gun if you do it right. This week I am actually messing around with wrapping my left hand index finger on the front of the trigger guard. Doing that in combination with riding my thumb on the takedown feels like I can get some very good leverage on the gun. Looking forward to testing that out in live fire later this week.

Factory 115 gr WBW. My goal for this week is to get out to the range and testing the combination of riding a finger in the front of the trigger guard while riding a thumb on the takedown lever. It certainly feels like it provides a lot of leverage and seems to work for Yong.

I am impressed. Great control and minimal muzzle rise.
  25. because no one has shown that more than a dozen or so people nationwide would participate. Sounds like more participation than Revolver division.
