  1. He probably shot that because he heard that I was shooting a revolver.
  2. Whew....I am back.......and no it wasn't me ..........this time. I am a lover, not a fighter, but don't get any ideas....I can fight too. My trip was uneventful, with the exception of a bout of real bad food poisining at teh airport, which put me down for the count and off the free booze for 24hours. ( now that is sick ) It is incredible how much easier travel is when you don't take your guns. After a harrowing journey, I landed in "God's Country", had a slice of toast at my parents house, and went and shot the local ICORE club match. It wasn't a stellar performance, but still managed to sneak in front of the other guys. Pretty cool really, and I won a sausage.....( No Doug, the kind you put in your mouth and chew ) Later in the week, 8 shooter and I went and shot the Pan Pacific Masters Games ( 1920 Bianchi match ) in pouring rain, where I won the rimfire and he won the centrefire, coming in second behind each other respectively. Then we headed to North Queensland ( Great Barrier reef ) where we drank all day, every day, til he got married, coincidentally, that was when the fun stopped. We quit drinking and I had to come back to work. Oh well, better get myself ready for next years matches and start loading ammo.
  3. The best wat to shoot the standards is with a rifle........
  4. Who said I was shooting a Revo......Unless Smith and Wesson have decided to put me into a shirt I will be shooting a bottom feeder like the rest of you cheaters..........
  5. And for the others who don't know, I believe that Matt has upgraded from an old farm junker 625, to a Carmoney Competition 625......... It was a lot easier to spank him when he was outgunned. He also failed to mention that he has spanked me with a Glock against my Race Gun. I was on suicide watch for a week after that. If I still lived in KY, Matt would be a great training buddy.
  6. Ron or Bob have been setting up matches, and doing a great job I believe.
  7. If it is Thanks giving weekend, count me in, as i am coming to Louisville to catch up with friends.
  8. No offence to IDPA Craig. Corey is a shooting buddy from Kentucky, and if I didn't make fun of him, he would think that I was sick. I agree, I think all shooting sports should be supported by shooting Sports people, to continue growth within the sport. Mark
  9. Wow......sorry it took so long to get on the forum. MTV has just left after filming my house for CRIBS, and PIMP my Gun . Chip Foose wants to Overhaul me, and Shooting USA wants to do a human interest piece on the Greatest unknown revolver shooter that ever lived...( in a small town in Australia ) Steve, the only way to find out how long a sasquatch lives is to count the rings around his trunk. ( you can use that one ) Dave, no one believes that Paul wouldn't drink it. Little FFL, you will never catch up with that attitude. ( are you Surgican, or a Surgican't ) Doug, you are truly one of the luckiest on these forums to have shared a room, bovine and beers. Thanks to the rest of you guys for your best wishes, especially Todd, since I still owe him money. ( pm me your address Todd and I will send you a check ) Cheers guys..... Mark
  10. Best way to enjoy revolver shooting Corey is to not shoot IDPA. Too many rules makes Jack a dull boy.
  11. Glad that you got it all together. Hope to see you at some matches next year. Mark
  12. Bob, the best way to keep a secret is to keep it secret. But you can tell us.
  13. Got him Doug.....nice fishing........
  14. My single best ever was 1.54 ( at the practice range ) shot to shot in the A ring at 15 yards. There were 2 of us and it took all afternoon, but we eventually jagged one each. Single best ever in a match 4.5 ( that's right....4.Fken 5 ) matches are always harder.
  15. Owwwwwwww......but if you count cell phone cameras...perhaps
  16. Why must I be constantly mocked for my chiselled good looks, and locks of flowing hair. Can I help it if Shooting USA is grooming me for greatness. Seriously though, the camera does add 140lbs. I haven't seen the show yet, as I was at a Hockey Game last night, that ended in a bar til the wee hours of the morning, but I am sure that it is a wonderful peice of journalism. The guys from Shooting USA are at lots of the big matches and they are really down to earth guys, that take lots of film footage that gets edited way down to provide us with the shows that we get in 30 minute blocks. In my opinion they are tremendously supporting all of the shooting sports, with coverage of everything from the Masters to SASS. If you don't get the Outdoor Channel you are missing out. Mark
  17. I had no idea! And to think.... I can say I knew her "when"!!! Hey PinShooter/Sasquatch....... You going to be at the Gator by chance? I'll toss for a few if so. Great to shoot with you guys, as well as the rest of the squad. We HAD to have the best squad out there for the Cup! Glad to hear you enjoyed and will be back to Miss'ippi again. Steve/WindowLicker Steve, I didn't know that you are Mr. Clean..........must be the haircut, cause it's not the A count.......
  18. Great match..... Great weekend, and what a lovely range.....This was my first visit to MS and it won't be my last. The weather was fantastic, stages were a good mix, atmosphere friendly, and well organised. It was good to put faces to so many names after seeing them post on the forum for so long. Thanks to Brian for the entry. Ron and Neil for sharing a ride and room. Glenn and Kathy for running the match. Danny, Pat and Deb for running the squad. All of Squad 2 And Secure Firearm Products for everything else.
  19. I hope they were wearing clothes......Just jokes.... from what I hear Mas could kick my arse.......and then go to court, use Mike as his lawyer, and I would get a good double royal screwing.
  20. PM inbound....... For some reason I cannot post pics....
