I cut into the mag tube from 10-2 just round enough so the shell would have a smooth transition from receiver to tube when loading. I use the stock follower and it works fine.

Wow 9x45 that looks nice, how hard was it to file evenly? Did you have to repaint?
-
9x45, what rears are you using to get the wider space?
-
I'm going to switch the entire set out, i'ts taller than the dawsons. And i'll look for the wider rear.

Have my glock 35 setup perfect with dawson fiber .225 Tall x .105 Wide front and rear heinie .125 Notch, Match with .225. Perfect setup for me. Went with taran tactical sights on my 17 and don't like them, I want to switch to dawson/heinie on my 17. Do I order the same size as my g35?? I want the exact same poi. Do i have to order thinner front to have the same space as the g35? Thanks

Has anyone tried the jlbillet hand guard? Their 15" is 10oz with barrel nut.

Looks good.

Thanks everyone, that will help for sure.

Thanks Lee, that will be the last resort, just buy new springs, they are cheap enough.

Ok ok, I'm stupid. I bought a few ismi weight springs for my glock and put springs and guide rods together and marked the weight of the spring with a sharpie...... Problem is I've swapped springs so many times I forgot what I was running and looked down at the mark and it's rubbed off!!!! How can I tell the weight of the springs now? I can guess, but wanted to know it you guys had a better way? I was thinking trigger pull gauge to test weight but wanted to hear from you guys? Thanks in advance.

Mossberg 930 Gas System Recoil Spring

Good to hear mossberg is going to take care of it -
Anyone add weight to the stock to balance the shotgun better?
Mbiker101 replied to Tuflehundon's topic in Shotgun - Technical
I cut my LOP down on both my 930s and added jbweld to the inside of the stock to give me a solid mounting surface to bolt my limbsaver, also the added weight balances the shotgun better IMO. -
Mossberg 930 Gas System Recoil Spring
Mbiker101 replied to falldownpioneer's topic in Shotgun - Technical
I understand now, thanks for the pics. I would call mossberg a get the extra parts to complete the barrel assembly, swapping between the two would be difficult. I was ready to order another barrel for my spx but it's nice to know they don't come complete. Now I have a jmpro that fills my 3 gun needs. -
Mossberg 930 Gas System Recoil Spring

I agree with wck, I would not run the gun without the proper setup, call mossberg and ask. Also take some pics and post so we can see exactly what you are describing. -
Pws you m&p looks great.

Just gave in and bought a marine spacer, like the concept and plenty of good reviews here. Thanks guys

Glad I found this thread, was researching the TTIs for both my glock and m&p. Cheapest place found so far?

I tried the advice from Bob Vogel's video about the support hand and rolling my grip inward and it helped tremendously. Was able to double tap without the sights moving, or at least it seemed to my eyes.

I run a lone wolf conversion in my g35 from glock store and from what I've read you don't need the 9mm extractor because the barrel is offset slightly to accommodate the 40 extractor. I could be wrong but this was what was explained to me. Please chime in if this is not correct. I've run stock springs with no issues.

Thanks hallz, I should check poi, it was low when I shot like combat sights but was hoping someone has already made the change and done the calculations.

So I agree with most the Novak front fiber is too wide so I'm going with the dawson precision .100 fiber front. Question is since I'm sticking with the stock Novak rear, what height front should I get? I don't want the combat sight picture, just regular top of sights lined up with bullseye.

Kevin's that's exactly what I was talking about, bought my jmpro 24" at a turners opening in El Cajon for $499, sent lifter to c-rums. $60, opened the port, free. Cleaned and polished action, so apprx $600 and have a great 3 gun setup that's super reliable. Just clean as jerry miculek states and it runs trouble free. Spend the other $400 on shell holders and ammo!!!

I agree with others uplula

I have both 35 and 41, get the 35, you will thank me. 41 is a great home defense/outdoor gun but for competion 35 all the way, and you say your a 9mm guy you can get a lonewolf converstion barrel to 9mm for kicks. That way you have the 40/9 combo.
