Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've held SVI steel grip and it felt great in my hands. However, I have PT aggressive texture in steel and titanium, I wouldn't trade them for anything. It may be too aggressive for some people but anything less feels like cotton balls.
  2. I've been using mine for over 2 years and it started to deform after the first year but it's still usable. Luckily, I only have one broken zipper (top left pocket) I'll probably give the shooters connection backpack a shot after this one dies.
  3. Jimmy Vidanes of 1911 Speed Shop in Riverside, CA.
  4. I have no experience with the CK grip but I really like how the PT aggressive fit my hand. It's not for sissies that's for sure.
  5. You're comparing moly vs plated so there will be some difference with velocity.
  6. Get a Phoenix Trinity steel with aggressive texture = problem solved. You can grip the hell out your gun until your hands bleed and your mags drop free 100% of the time.
  7. Yep but I use my mtm cases for 100 cases at a time.
  8. I'm using N340 w/ montana gold 180gr fmj @ 5.7grs = 173pf.
  9. Per Rio Salado website: Here are some stats for the “Winers” who jumped on the net and was bitching that Area 2 residents should get first crack at signing up. So tell me how did you know who signed up??? As it stands right now including the waiting list: California 158, Arizona 96, New Mexico 12, Colorado 23 Hawaii 2
  10. I don't think they should hold on to your money when you're wait listed.
  11. I would suggest buying frames now and build one from the ground up. You can buy one frame and have 2 uppers built for it (40 and 9) and I would recommend 1911 Speed Shop in Riverside, CA.
  12. I chamber check each round while watching tv like others. I have zero ammo issues at the range/match.
  13. First build so I went simple. Gun built by Jimmy Vidanes of 1911 Speed Shop in Riverside, CA
  14. I had my grip and safety installed last night and it required very little fitting.
