  1. I have no more idea about them aside from what is listed on the midway website.
  2. just in case yall are wondering the taylor freelance base pads are now in stock at midway.
  3. Taylor freelance makes some for the witness but I have never used them, as far as any others aside from henning, taylor and a few people who make their own. None, Tanfoglio just isn't big enough in the US to make it worthwhile for many people to make and sell the witness base pads.
  4. I Will help you find Santa and collect your copay for a 50/50 split. But I want my 50 up front.
  5. In which case I vote make one. I have acess to a machine shop and everything to make a slide racker to fit my dovetail but I am just too busy currently to give me time to make one. And over the holidays I Will be making base pads for my witness.
  6. If what I think is true the sidewinders have the same dovetail angle and they are the same size as the tangfolio sight cuts, so I think they should fit but I am about to try one anyway so I will let you know if it works.
  7. Well you know I am what I am. A.K.A. Infallible so obviously its your perspective that is skewed not me who is full of it... HA HA.
  8. Girls haven't phased me and I'm 15 we talk and hang out but they all know that I'm deep into shooting sports. So if we hang out we plan around the competition days.
  9. yes but in that instance its flexing down. With the henning base pad its flexing to the side, I just dont prefer that because I think it shorthens the overal life of the spring. I just prefer the base pads I made to hennings. I was just seeing if anyone else out there shared my opinon.
  10. I do know what they are saying when they say just push it and it will eventually pop off, but that makes me nervous because it bends the spring so far.
  11. Hey I thought I was the only junior shooting a tangfolio. What model do you shoot?
  12. I must agree those were my favorite except I am actually physically prepared this year. Ha ha
  13. If you go to the website the scores are posted there, however there are no combined results.
  14. Those guys are actually the standard target stands you just don't know it. When there is a target that literally seems to be dodging you but everyone else just thinks you can't hit anything- It's really the "gremlins" screwing with your head
  15. Got done with shooting with the RO's today. Man, that was a fun match! The stages were great. As far as the weather and bugs... Neither were bad. There were ladybugs aplentybut hardly any gnats. Weather was about 80 tomorrow in tge mid 60's with rain predicted. So bring lots of socks, pants, and most importantly good boots(that you don't mind getting muddy)!
  16. Ok thanks, I guess I hadn't really thought about someone Jerry rigging it. Next time I go to the store I will look at it much more seriously
  17. Well the tag read SP-01 shadow and the shadow on the side of it made me pretty confident that it was.
  18. Well as far as owner gun smithing I have no issue with one that someone has done a trigger job to but I mean if they changed the angle on the face of the disconector then yes. Personally my father I do our own smithing from building an AR to building an open top end for my witness. Hence the no issue to self smiths.
  19. I tried both as far as the trigger goes and yes it was a shadow.I shoot a witness but I liked the feel of it enought that I am seriously considering it who knows maybe Santa will come through, or I'll just buy it for myself.
  20. Yesterday I was in one of the local gun stores looking for shotgun ammo. I was looking at the pistols because I had some time, and I saw a used SP-01shadow for $500. I will admit to being new to CZs but I know my way around a witness which is a nearly identical platform. The slide to frame lockup felt pretty good but the barrel looked pretty worn. The trigger felt smooth but odd, it was pretty smooth even in double action but in single action it was really long 2 stage trigger lots of pretravel but a crisp break. I really liked it but to use my fathers words he described it as a cool gun that looked pristine but had a lot of rounds through it. What is a used shadow worth? I am not sure about the internals as I was in a store with a clerk staring at me and didn't want to freak him out bh breaking it down in the store. However it felt like the safety had some play in it. If I bought the gun is this fixable with a new safety/sear combo or either one? Thanks, Will
  21. Try going to more reply options and then if you are in your computer and you have it saved as a jpeg you can just upload it by clicking more reply options and then finding the file you have it saved as. As far as its worth it depends on the round count. or is it new?
  22. Well if you have to hold it sideways it is now a completly impractical gun, BUT a very cool and expensive paperweight!
