  1. Anyone seen these yet. http://www.safariland.com/holders/model-086---8-shotgun-shell-holder-model_086_8.html#start=1

  3. I used jb weld on all my Glock textures. Make sure you DONT get the fast set epoxy. Getting the application of epoxy smooth is the hardest part. I then pour a big pile of grit on a newspaper then dip the grip in the pile. I think it works better than sprinkling the grit on.
  4. Santa brought me 3 mbx magazines, safariland mag holders and bladetech holster. Just need my damn pistol to get here!
  5. Still waiting on my DVC which will hopefully be here in January. Ive been getting worried with all the reviews saying the gun likes longer hand loads. I currently shoot Speer lawman 180 grain because its what my dept uses and its free. Ive ordered three mbx magazines hoping a tuned mag will feed better. Don't want to have to buy a Dillon reloader after dropping this much coin on a pistol.
  6. I purchased 30 Eotech 552's the AA battery model for our tactical team. Must of had 4-5 of them break. The inner glass has busted loose. We are now trying to transition to Aimpoint Pro's.
  7. Still waiting on my dvc. Sure hope it runs Speer lawman 180 grain factory loads. Really don't want to reload, seeing that my ammo is free.
  8. I just ordered a dvc limited 40 thru a local dealer. I was told January, but I'm not holding my breath.
  9. Shooting major 40. Factory loads. Didn't think about the magazine springs, they are getting a little old. Ran a 13pound uncaptured round wire spring this weekend and never had a issue
  10. Gen4...factory spring ejects rounds straight up.
  11. I've been having a hell of a time with ftf's after lightening my glock 35 slide. Cut is very similar to zev dragon fly. I'm shooting factory ammo high pf. I've tried captured 13 and 15 pound ismi springs with no success. I've also tried uncaptured 13 pound round wire spring, which I think is working. What's the consensus of which spring works. Trying to avoid buying a whole set of springs to figure out the one that will work.
  12. Got mine today. So far I'm liking it. Daylight bright recticle....Decent glass...and excellent price.
  13. Mine arrived today from cameraland....unfortunately I wasn't here to pick it up from FedEx. I've had it on order since Jan.
  14. Just had a friend print one for me. I bought 8-32 nut 1/2" length socket head hex screw
  15. Best light for the money is the streamlight tlr-1. 100 bucks would be a good buy for a new unit. Might be able to find a used one cheaper.
  16. Had the same issue with extended slide stops. You may be engaging the slide stop with your grip. Especially a problem if you have big hands. Try putting a normal length stop on and see if you have the same issue.
  17. I use a drop leg holster on duty to take the weight off my belt. I've noticed a huge improvement in how my back feels at the end of the night. I've been using a drop leg at local uspsa events to keep my competition gear similar to my patrol gear. I see no safety issues with a drop leg unlike a shoulder holster.
  18. This will be my first area championship. Didn't know what level match it is considered.
  19. If I'm law enforcement can I use a drop leg thigh holster at a area championship event?
  20. Quick question for those using the invictus practical holster hanger. I will be using a safariland AlS holster attached to a QLS. Does anyone know if I can still keep the holster within the uspsa measurement guidelines with the invictus hanger? Trying to get the same set up for both uspsa and three gun.
  21. Probably will not see it till late spring.

  23. I've been using the hat mount which comes with the head strap kit. You turn your hat backwards and it fits under the headband of your hat. Works OK so far for uspsa.
