I just installed a DK trigger. Haven't messed with the adjustments at all. Would be interested in trying a scale to see if its as light as advertised. After about 150 rounds I started experiencing light primer strikes. Switched to a heavier striker spring, hopefully it helps.

I was at a armorers course and the instructor talked about his home made lube consisting of 2/3 synthetic transmission fluid and 1/3 STP oil treatment. Has anyone tried this formula or anything like it. I mixed up a batch which makes a crap load of oil for 10 bucks. Haven't tested it thoroughly yet.

Recenly my department has been big on community outreach programs. To take advantage of this I started a department shooting team to compete in USPSA pistol and 3 gun events. The idea is to get out and mingle with those involved in the shooting sports. Team members get time off to shoot and ammo provided. Out if 300 officers I maybe have 3-4 active shooters.

Be aware that some have problems with the extended slide stops. If you tend to shoot with a high grip or thumbs, the slide stop can inadvertently be pushed up causing malfunctions.

Just received my 2.8's today. I'm really impressed with the quality of construction. I am just learning the quad load but love that I can also duel load from the same carrier. Now I need to sell my other loaders to buy some more. What's everyone's opinion on the 12q?

Coming from a glock and being a armorer I of course do all my own work. How easy are the Para's to work on. Will I be able to install most of my aftermarket parts.

Para just popped up for sale. It appears to be in good condition and is stock. Looking to step up to a 1911 for limited division, so its going to need a lot of parts added. Is 750.00 a decent price?

After attending a 870 armorers course I found it funny how Remington specs its parts. Basically the part tolerances are factored as a whole and not by individual part. For instance if something is over spec they search for a under spec part to pair it with. No shit, this is what the Remington instructor was teaching on how to fix the gun. Has far as the trigger group goes they tell you not to attempt to fix it and send it to Remington. Was not impressed with the Remington armorers course.

What holsters are you all using with the weight. Looks like I would have to toss out my bladetec for some type of cr speed in order to use it.
