  1. I know a good place to get all the bells and whistles for your tanfos;-)
  2. I'd bet it was over worked brass, I will be checking the gallon I picked up last week from my friend carefully after I tumble it. Course Area 4 coming up so open gun will be on back burner for awhile but I do love how it shoots
  3. Nothing else broke, maybe the screw was just weakened. I gave to local gunsmith to remove screw and will give it a very thorough inspection before firing again. It scared crap outta my buddy when it went off. The brass case that ejected had a huge tear in it
  4. Ben Stoeger Pro Shop has holsters for Tanfo Limiteds if I'm not mistaken. I got one for my Stock II's in Production and Stock III which turned into a Limited gun and with the BOSS Hanger attachment I'm very pleased.
  5. Well I got the Cmore put on last weekend and sighted it in. I was using some ammo from a good buddy who's been loading for years but I I got one round that must been loaded a tad hot and this was the result. The head on the grip screw blew right off, This is gonna be a pain to get out, lol
  6. Yes, I think sticking with one gun is good and it definitely takes time to adjust to a new one. It certainly took adjusting going from my 34 to my unicorn
  7. Gents, with my new Gold Custom I'm not the biggest fan of the slide racker on the right. Are their any alternatives out there?
  8. So are you going to use this gun in Production? Sent from my flux capacitor
  9. Congrats, I picked up my 4th Tanfo last night. Addictive they are. I guess it depends what your looking for as far as performance. This is what I've done with my Stock II's: --Eric G Xtreme Hammer --Eric G (I think) one-piece sear --Henning XL FP --CGW TRS Spring --CGW CZ Sear Spring --Eric Guide Rod --Xtreme Flat trigger --Xtreme Light or reduced hammer and FP spring --Eric FPB Spring --reduced plunger spring (I used ball point click pen spring) --Eric Xtreme front sight --and most important is a good polish job. And I mean "JUST POLISH" as I've already messed up sears by turning polishing into material removal. Atlas has a great post on doing trigger job on CZ which basically the same or close to Tanfos. On my Stock III and Gold Custom I put the Henning Flat trigger system and like very much. The Tanfo forum is FULL of knowledge and some extremely smart dudes. Good luck
  10. Don't know, it was a friend who run 38 super in his open guns. I still have a LOT to acquire far as reloading stuff, different powders, rig etc.
  11. Well I don't know if the top holes are metric but CMore don't fit, I'm focusing on production thru Gator Classic then will shoot some open. Test fired last night with no dot and seems flat and loud:-)
  12. It's complete..........for now;-)
  13. So is that 5 Stock II's? Do you shoot different divisions or steel with them? Nothing wrong with having multiple ones just curiousThere are 5 stock 2 9mm. I'm actually thinning them out. Giving one to my father. One I'm trading. Keeping my small frame and two large frames. So at the end I'll have 3. My small frame is my primary. I'll have one back up and one safe queen. That's cool, I wasn't being facetious, just was curious as to 5. My 2 are good as primary and a backup. Some pretty pistols though:-)

  15. I converted mine. Slap the magwell on and drop the henning trigger in and it's good to go.
  16. I went from a G34 to a Stock II and at first it felt like transitioning to a cinder block but the more I've shot it the more I've grown to enjoy the Tanfo platform, so much I got another one. I have a lot of friends who shoot CZ's and no debate that the CZ trigger can be made lighter in DA but I'd rather the ergonomic feeling and balance of the Stock II than a pound less off the trigger any day. But with all the knowledge from the Tanfo experts on here (atlas, cha lee, nealio etc) you can make the trigger nice on your own. I'd say shoot it some more and of course if it doesn't grow on you then you should have NO PROBLEM selling it;-)
  17. Gents, Can anyone share some load data for a Tanfo Gold custom in 38 Super for major PF? I have a couple Stock II's and a Stock III and a Gold Custom coming. I run an OAL of 1.125 in 9mm. What OAL is reliable and what are some powder suggestions? I've only ever used Titegroup but that I don't believe will be ideal for 38 super in open. Thanks in advance!!!
  18. Can anyone who shoots an Open Tanfo give me some suggestions on holsters? Are any of the ones out the compatible to where one could run an open gun and a Stock III in limited with the same holster? Thanks in advance
  19. Hey guys, I've added a new unicorn and am looking for a few items such has a holster, a slide ride CMore, etc. basically anything for my new open gun. If anyone has spares or prize table stuff they wanna sell CHEAPLY to keep my wife from divorcing me then send me a PM on what you got. Also it's in 38 super and gotta get the necessary 650 crap as well to start loading. Damn it Production seems much easier to rig out:-) thanks a million gents!!!
  20. Bayous are all I've shot and do not ever plan on changing. They are accurate, little smoke, and Donnie's customer service is second to none. He has sample packs which you can get to test at first and his bullets I think are very reasonably priced too
  21. I seriously have pondered selling one of my Stock II's in 9mm for a Tanfo open gun but just can't bring myself to do it. That's horrible
