  1. The funny thing for me is that in my head I feel like I am going slow and feel like I need to rush. Nils taught me dont worry about speed and just get good hits....after a while my speed got faster even tho in my head i am still slow. (the timer speaks for itself)
  2. I find myself looking back to see if I did what my "plan" was suppose to go. I just react most of the time.
  3. I wonder if there is places where you can rent a laser engraver? sometimes you just want to mess around with one without having to break a bank
  4. that's what works for me. On my plain vanilla 550, 100 rds takes me 15 mins at a daydreaming pace, stopping every 10 rounds for a sip of beer or coffee (depending on whether it's morning or evening). I tumble and sort all my brass as I get it, so every piece except what I shot yesterday is already cleaned and ready. If you watch *any* sports on tv (or really anything at all on tv), you have time to reload. Lots of good ideas in here. Hopefully the OP can find something that will work with his personality. I certainly don't think anyone needs to have a super-fancy press in order to stay on top of a normal shooting schedule. Your right, I just need to figure out the schedule to keep the home life happy and the AR's happy too. :-) Yea I do not have a fancy press....just my cheap LEE loadmaster
  5. I have a decal machine that I used to mark my base pads
  6. someone gave me a tip to do...100 rounds a day. that usually takes less than 30mins. I also clean it up and get it ready for the next day. so If I can do 3 days that week. I am good to go for a small match on the weekend. It helps me a lot since I do not feel like I have to do hundreds of rounds in one sitting. just my 2cents
  7. I had to change my diet since I dont take any meds for it. I do stay hydrated. I drink about a gallon of water a day (I dont drink soda or alcohol so its easier to drink water)
  8. +1 on the tumbler also. you can get a cheap one from harbor freight or a used one ebay.
  9. That looks great! they are getting cheaper too. I am also interested on a link (in southern california so no competition here also)
  10. I like to "chase" someone especially if we are in the same group of friends. It just helps push my limits to get better instead of just staying in "cruise control"
  11. I had a friend that needed the cash and was selling me his HK USPC .40 for only $350 and only shot it less than $50. as much as I wanted to help him out, I was also broke. he ended up taking it to a pawn shop and they gave him $300 for it
  12. that looks awesome! I would like to try to make one
  13. +1 on the bladetech. I like to keep the same type of holster so running production, single stack, or limited...they all pretty much the same so I dont have to change my draw. just my 2cents
  14. ever thought of having a custom decal made and just put it on your gear? I have a decal machine so I use that to mark my gear and mags. just an idea
  15. +1 on the skipping on keyboard, unless you are going to use it for word processing. if anything I just buy the touch pen so its easier than my finger
  16. +1 on the surefire app for Par time on my iphone. its easy to set up also
  17. willing to give this a try also. Thanks
  18. Newbie here.... Looking to learn
