Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks guys, looks like I have some more parts to order And I wish I could put a comp on there, I just know I'm not anywhere near ready for open.
  2. I am looking into upgrading the barrel in my M&P 9L and wanted to get the threaded version for a silencer for when the gun is not being used to compete. Any issues making this illegal in tac ops?
  3. I read all of the comments before watching the video. Now I know what you guys are talking about. Yeaup, it can be anything!
  4. Yea the slide is just a teeny bit wider
  5. The pistol is pretty accurate actually. Very comparable, if not better then my 9 (let it be noted that I don't have accuracy issues with it...yet) It does not fit in my Thumbdrive holster which kind of stinks, but it's not like I'm competing with it anyway.
  6. It seems all to often I see people so worried about triggers. I understand it does help having a smooth pull, but it seems like there are so many threads about how to improve it, how to fix it, and everything in between. To me, the trigger pull won't be the difference between an A and a D unless your shooting at a pretty good distance. It seems so much more productive to work on your technique then to blame trigger pull.
  7. Also I called S&W today...They have no 12 round magazines left and they are still waiting on a shipment which they told me is past over due.
  8. It would be pretty cool if Apex decided to make some M&P22 parts, but I assume it will be a little while. The trigger isn't anywhere near unbareable though, so for now it is a great plinker. And I sure due hope she decides to keep moving up to larger guns. It would be nice to have a range buddy that is nice to look at lol.
  9. O and she was questioning why I wanted more magazines for the 22, but after the first couple rounds of reloading every 30 seconds she says to me "Ooo now I know why you wanted more of these things" As far as a range report, I had zero malfunctions after firing 300-400 and wanted to fire even more just for the fact that it cost almost nothing compared to my 45. The gun was greased just shy of dipping it in a bucket full of it lol. I did a quick tear down and wiped everything off with a microfiber rag at the range and threw some gun butter on it before firing.
  10. I bought an M&P22 to practice with since I'm using my M&P9 in USPSA. I got the call this morning that it had been dropped off at my local range and got everything together to head down there. Well after over 2 hours of shooting we finally decided we had shot enough for one day and packed up. (My girlfriend is not a shooter, and doesn't ever shoot because she is tiny and doesn't like even the 9) On the way home she is talking about getting herself a range bag for HER new gun. First couple times I thought she was just describing it as the gun she likes shooting...Nope I think the M&P22 is no longer mine. It's alright because if it gets her into shooting it is worth the cost. But umm I thought this was my new toy. I wonder if this means she is cleaning it and buy ammo too! PS The CCI Stinger rounds are freakin awesome! The Muzzle flash just makes me giggle every time lol
  11. Yea, I must say though, I think my subconscious is a better shooter then my conscious haha.
  12. I'm sure everyone has done it (or I'm really weird) where they get almost home, or home from work and they have not a clue how they got there. Once that buzzer goes off that's how I shoot. The few things I remember seeing is the sight moving from recoil and that is really it. When I try to recall what happened all I can remember is making ready, and clearing the firearm to show clear. It's kind of funny to me because I have some really bad ADD, but once that buzzer goes off I'm in the zone. I started thinking about this when I was reading a thread about a guy having a conversation with himself while shooting, and thought to myself there is no possible way I could do that. Everything I do once that buzzer goes off is just instinctive. My question is, are most people like me or are most people able to recall and coach themselves while shooting?
  13. Dam that's no good. Looks like I will be waiting for a little bit
  14. I might have to do that just to get one extra until I can find some more, cheaper.
  15. I know they are hard to come by, and I have found a few sites with them. But I have never used them before, and don't know if I trust them. Does anyone have a site they have used to grab a few of these?
