I'm using 3.4 TG with SnS 160s. I havn't chrono'd it, but 3.2 had put me at 108 pf and I wanted to be just a bit higher.

Kneelingatlas, what springs are you using with 147s? I'm about to start playing around with 160s in my cz, but I'm currently running an 11bls recoil spring.

I shoot my p07 in SSP on occasion.

I just saw they list a 9x21 SP01 Shadow on the CZ UB site. Now I kinda want one. You know, because. I may have a problem. A CZ problem. A not enough CZs problem.

Here in SE WI and Northern IL we have a bunch of us shooting SSP, ESP, and CDP with CZs of all sorts. Still more popular in USPSA than IDPA out here.

I have a 75 shadow custom target I got for IDPA, then later picked up a "used" sp01 shadow (maybe 50 rounds) at a local gun shop to have as a back up, or use the 75 as a back up after I worked up the SP01. I like the 75 better as well. I don't notice a huge difference when shooting 130 pf ammo between the two when it comes to recoil, but the 75 seems to handle better for me. I'll be shooting it at WA state and maybe WI state this year - but then I'll stick with revolvers for the next year.....If I can manage to keep the CZs in the safe.

Trgt, I like that! I'm in the early stages of doing something similar, but I'm going to frame mount a Cmore instead of a slide ride. On that topic, Which Cmore scopes are you guys mounting? I'm new to the idea of open/red dots. Serendipitys or Slide rides or what?

I shoot a 10-6 the times I shoot SSR. I'm with Carmoney, running an old police/security trade in or used K frame has a certain satisfaction to it in SSR. Also its a cheap way to get set up for SSR. I got the 10-6 for 300 bucks a year or so ago then picked up a holster and comp IIIs with the discount card I got for holsters.com from joining IDPA. Started in SSR for about 400 bucks give or take.

I'd love to find a V comp barrel for it, any ideas on where to look?

I know a few of you guys have re-barreled a 4inch 627 and was wondering what barrels you went with and why. I have one on the way and while I bet the 4inch shoots better then I do, I'm sure I won't be able to resist the idea of tinkering with it a bit. Thanks!

I'm using a blade tech for mine, but it's for idpa. What's your plans for L10, ve been really tempted to set mine up for L10 and just ignore cdp

I'm bringing 45LC for the steel, I'll just do a "loaded cylinder" reload - It's not like I'm going to win ESR anyways Only matches this weekend are a classifier and a 6 stage match - I'll wait for a club fo have a 4 stage day and I'll do it them.

If I shoot IDPA this coming weekend, I think I may take the Ruger Alaskan and some 454 rounds thanks to this thread.

gr7070, Can you expand on that a little bit? I'm not sure I'm completely understanding you, but I am interested in the idea.

I didn't notice a problem when I shot my Ruger Alaskan the first time, but I've trained my grip strength (for judo and shooting). I just gripped it till the sights started shaking then backed off til they stopped to determine how hard I was going to grip it.

Have one, love it, do not regret buying it.

I have a 75 Shadow with the short reset, and I'd have to agree with Czhase. It's my IDPA esp gun and I'm using in Production too. If your set on SAO though, I'd still go with the Shadow model. Its set up better for competition shooting.

I think blade tech also makes a pouch for the 97 mags

I think the cut outs on the outer face are a problem, but since there is no rule about modifying to mage them legal or about what a mag carrier is made of, a bit of black duck tape fixes that.....

Also my ghost 360 pouches work find for it.

I have a spring kit I'm going to put in when I have time to polish up the insides.

I kinda wanted to get a second one with all the L10 upgrade possibilities, you know for science. Thumb rest, blank comp for sight tracker etc ALL THE MODS!!!

I have one from CZC for CDP that I love. CGW also has an extended FP for them and some other parts if I recall. Idk if the accubushing or an altered shadow safety would be legal though.

Check out Cajun Gun Works and CZ custom, both have a wide variety of springs. CGW even sells a pack of 5 different ones I believe
