  4. I was thinking of cutting the blade off but thought maybe someone made a filler. Thanks
  5. Does anyone make a dovetail filler for an STI front sight ?
  6. I agree Use for practice. Thanks
  7. Is there a way to "safely" reseat primers after bullet is loaded ?? Thanks, SR
  8. I would fire at least 1000 rounds through it before I did anything.
  9. Yes I will make sure of the primer depth from now on. I have a bunch loaded that may have some high primers and I was thinking of installing an extended FP anyway so thought I would ask. Thanks for all the responses. SR
  10. Does an extended firing pin help set off rounds with high primers ?
  11. We always seem to hear about what we are having problems with. I would like to hear from the ones not having any problems. I always say no one ever calls to say you are doing a great job and I want to give you more money. It's always the problems we hear about. I am not having any yet but have only loaded about 1000 rds. SR
  12. It was my caliper. It was off but it was at least consistent so all I had loaded were crimped correctly to .378 but a little long . They still work fine so no harm. Thanks for the help. SR
  13. My brass thickness is .012 and my bullet size is .351 so that would be .375. Thanks for the help, SR
  14. I was shooting a match a few years back and they had the el prez for the classifier. I was practicing my turn around before I shot and Ron Avery came over to me and said just turn around like you are going to get something out of your truck. Very good advice. Why make it complicated. Your just turning around. Keep it simple.
  15. What I did was to seat the bullet (MGB 124 CMJ) then measure right below the bell. It measured .375 so I set my crimp to .375 which is basically no crimp at all. I have read where most will crimp 38 super to .377 or .378 which would be less than no crimp at all. What would be the reasoning behind using less than no crimp (.377 to .378) than just no crimp (.375) ? Wouldn't the bullet be seated at .375 either way ? Thanks, SR
  16. I am in the process of setting up my new 1050 and have a question. Is the brass feed tube supposed to be crooked ? It is not plumb, it leans to the left ( no political pun intended ) . I can't imagine it is supposed to be that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated . SR
  17. I use a shock buff and the lightest spring I can get it to run reliably with.
  18. I am getting the same measurement on new Starline. Thanks
  19. My brass after sizing measures .375 after belling .377 so my crimp is .373 does this seem right ? I used to crimp to .377. I haven't changed anything on my loader. Wonder could my caliper be off ?
