  1. There is a company that makes a grip to equal the size of the 2011.Sorry don't remember the name.
  2. I know hard chrome is a durable finish but does it actually keep the gun from wearing ie does the slide to frame fit stay tighter longer less wear ? Thanks, SR
  3. Get a Brazos tuned ejector and be done with it.
  4. I just compressed the springs with a plier ad it worked great.
  5. Thant makes sense as well. Seems like one should just bevel it for either reason. Thanks a lot, SR
  6. That makes sense. I can see how that would make it easier . Thanks so much, SR
  7. I have a Brazos 38 super. I was cleaning it and noticed that there was a slight gouge on the slide rail, nothing severe but noticeable. There are also two dimples on the bottom of the barrel right where the guide rod head sits. Is it possible for the guide rod to get turned and scrape the slide rail ? The scuff on the slide rail is right where the guide rod head sits. It looks like the only thing that could have done it. There is a very very slight rub mark on the other side of the slide in the same spot. I am running a shock buff, and the pistol never malfunctioned. I bought the pistol used and it was fine when I got it and I have shot several hundred rds through it cleaned it before and after my last match and it was not like that. I went out and shot a hundred rds the other day and took the top off to wipe it down and there it was, it had to happen in that hundred rds. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, SR
  8. When you have a 9mm barrel fit does the smith have to change anything on the slide or frame ? I guess what I am asking does it affect how the origina barrel fits ?
  9. First Eagle I have seen with a long wide dust cover. Yes that's a thumb rest and some say it helps with recoil.
  10. I called Dillon and they are sending me the tool at no charge. Thanks for the tip Sarge
  11. I found the problem. The shell plate platform that attaches to the main shaft got out of alignment some how. The two allen head screws that hold it on were very tight so I don't think it came loose. I don't believe it was from wear I have only loaded about 10,000 rounds on it. Anybody have any idea as to what could have caused it ? Thanks for the help, SR
  12. Anybody have any problems with using an aftermarket tool head ? On station 1 the case hits the edge of the size die, doesn't line up properly. I tried loosening the dies and retighten them with the cases in them. I took it all apart and cleaned it good and still the problem. I am now thinking it's the aftermarket tool head. I had to buy aftermarket during the crunch. 38 super. Thanks, SR
  13. Does anyone run a PF that high ? My Brazos 38 super sure works good at that PF. Is there that much difference in wear and tear on the pistol between a 175 and a 180 ? Thanks, SR
  14. Thanks for all the help. I will try these suggestions
  15. I am loading 38 super on my 550 and at station 4 the case gets real tight and does not let the plate line up properly. I am using the 9mm/38 super conversion. It is brand new brass. Does not do it with 9mm. Any ideas. Thanks, SR
  16. What's the opinion on grip tape or stock grip? 2011 38 super. Thanks, SR
  17. The 223's were a nightmare for me lucky I only had 400 of them.
